Ralphie Report: NFL Mock Draft 2025: Ralphie Report’s Official Predictions

Where will Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter end up?

The day has finally come!

The NFL Draft kicks off tonight in Green Bay, and two Colorado Buffaloes will be the center of attention. With Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter finally finding their NFL landing spots later tonight, the folks here at Ralphie Report decided that we would celebrate by creating the best NFL mock draft EVER MADE! (only slightly kidding...)

If you want to listen to the creation of the mock draft in podcast form, you can do so here!

Without further ado, let’s jump into Ralphie Report’s officially 2025 NFL Mock Draft:

1 - Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward, QB — Miami

COLLEGE FOOTBALL: DEC 28 Pop-Tarts Bowl - Iowa State vs Miami
Photo by David Rosenblum/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images

The worst-kept secret of the night is that the Titans are going to pick Cam Ward first overall. The brass down in Nashville saw Ward’s stellar 2024 year and The U and have decided that he’s the guy for them. Ward has a great arm and fantastic pocket presence, but we still think that Shedeur Sanders is the best QB available... (This is a Colorado blog after all)

2 - Cleveland Browns: Travis Hunter, ATH — Colorado

Oklahoma State v Colorado

Here we go! Hunter is the first Buff off the board at pick No. 2, tying Bo Mathews for the highest pick ever to come out of Colorado. After Cleveland locked up elite pass rusher Myles Garrett, the clear move is to pass on Abdul Carter and snag a generational talent like Hunter. Hopefully they’ll let him play on both sides of the football with a ton of drama...

3 - New York Giants: Abdul Carter, ED — Penn State

Ohio State v Penn State

Carter, Ward and Hunter are the clear one-two-three picks this year. After that, there’s a pretty significant drop-off. Carter is a generational pass rusher off the edge. He’s big, fast, strong and extremely explosive. After dodging surgery on his injured shoulder during the CFP, he’ll be good to go and plug right into the Giants’ defensive line.

4 - New England Patriots: Will Campbell, T — LSU

Vanderbilt v LSU
Photo by Gus Stark/LSU/University Images via Getty Images

Campbell has been a star with the Tigers, establishing himself as the best offensive lineman in this year’s draft. For New England, picking a top-end guy to protect Drake Maye is pivotal, and Campbell is just that.

5 - Jacksonville Jaguars: Tetairoa McMillan, WR — Arizona

Arizona State v Arizona

Here’s a guy that Colorado fans are extremely familiar with. Arizona’s superstar wide receiver has the highest upside of any pass catcher in this year’s draft. He’s 6-foot-5, 215 pounds, extremely fast and physical. He’ll slot right into a pass-heavy Liam Coen offense and thrive.

6 - Las Vegas Raiders: Ashton Jeanty, RB — Boise State

Vrbo Fiesta Bowl - Penn State v Boise State

Boise is not a state. Sorry, had to get that in there.

Jeanty is by far the best running back available since Saquon Barkley out of Penn State. Just go watch his highlights from this season and you’ll learn all you need to know. Jeanty is absolutely electric and is a threat every single time the ball touches his hands. This is the ultimate Al Davis-style Raiders pick here.

7 - New York Jets: Mason Graham, DI — Michigan

COLLEGE FOOTBALL: NOV 30 Michigan at Ohio State
Photo by Ian Johnson/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images

Graham stood out in 2025 for his mix of physicality and speed in 2024 with the Wolverines. NFL execs and scouts have also been raving about how Graham has knocked it out of the park with his interviews during the draft process. The Jets are in shambles and need help everywhere, so why not pick the best player on the board?

8 - Carolina Panthers: Tyler Warren, TE — Penn State

COLLEGE FOOTBALL: JAN 09 CFP Semifinal Capital One Orange Bowl - Notre Dame vs Penn State
Photo by Doug Murray/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images

Bryce Young needs a lot of help, so they should bring in Warren to beef up the TE room. Warren can do it all. He can block, pass catch, you name it. He’s the highest-ranked TE this year for a reason. He specifically prevails as a pass catcher, which the Panthers need more than anything.

9 - New Orleans Saints: Shedeur Sanders, QB — Colorado

Oklahoma State v Colorado

Colorado’s QB doesn’t have to wait too long, hearing his name called within the top 10 to the New Orleans Saints. The Saints need a QB after Derek Carr’s struggles both on the field and with injuries, so new head coach Kellen Moore brings in the most prolific passer available in this year’s draft to run his West Coast offense.

10 - Chicago Bears: Malaki Starks, S — Georgia

91st Allstate Sugar Bowl - Notre Dame v Georgia

The Bears need all the help they can get at safety. With the top safety still on the board in Starks, this selection feels like a no-brainer in our eyes.

11 - San Francisco 49ers: Jahdae Barron, CB — Texas

Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic - Ohio State v Texas

The Niners badly need a replacement for Charvarius Ward after he left for Indy in free agency, so bringing in Barron, the consensus top cornerback in this year’s draft, makes a ton of sense. Bolstering up your roster with the best player available seems like a John Lynch move.

12 - Dallas Cowboys: Luther Burden III, WR — Mizzou

Goodyear Cotton Bowl - Missouri v Ohio State

Burden’s draft stock has taken a hit in recent months, but we predict that Jerry Jones is looking to make a major splash at a skill position. With Hunter, McMillan and Jeanty off the board, we expect that pick will be the Mizzou receiver.

13 - Miami Dolphins: Armand Membou, T — Mizzou

Missouri v South Carolina

Screw it, we are going with the two Mizzou guys back-to-back. Tua needs more protection up front, and Membou is the highest graded offensive lineman still available. Feels like a match made in heaven.

14 - Indianapolis Colts: Colston Loveland, TE — Michigan

COLLEGE FOOTBALL: NOV 09 Michigan at Indiana
Photo by James Black/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images

We have a Colts fan on staff (cough cough, Jacob) who is very adamant that he wants his team to take Loveland. Anthony Richardson has one more year to prove that he can be a starter in the league, and bringing him some help via a top TE surely increases his odds of success.

15 - Atlanta Falcons: Jihaad Campbell, LB — Alabama

Alabama v LSU

The Falcons need help at linebacker and they’ve miraculously stumbled upon the top-ranked SEC prospect at pick No. 15. Don’t mess this up, Terry Fontenot.

16 - Arizona Cardinals: Will Johnson, CB — Michigan

NCAA Football: Arkansas State at Michigan
Rick Osentoski-Imagn Images

The Cardinals have needed help in the secondary for multiple years now, so snagging a prospect as coveted as Will Johnson feels right for an Arizona team looking to finally break through to the playoffs with Kyler Murray.

17 - Cincinnati Bengals: Kelvin Banks, T — Texas

NCAA Football: CFP National Playoff First Round-Clemson at Texas
Mark J. Rebilas-Imagn Images

Banks sliding to 17 is admittedly a bit of a reach, but just roll with it. The Bengals have needed help up front since their Super Bowl run in 2021, and Banks is an absolute steal here. If the Bengals can pull this off, this might be the best pick of the night.

18 - Seattle Seahawks: Mike Green, ED — Marshall

NCAA Football: Marshall at Virginia Tech
Peter Casey-Imagn Images

Green is this year’s mid-major guy who skyrocketed up the board after a stellar performance at the Senior Bowl and Combine. He’s a freak athlete, and we like his fit within Mike Macdonald’s defense.

19 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Donovan Ezeiruaku, ED — Boston College

NCAA Football: Pittsburgh at Boston College
Brian Fluharty-Imagn Images

Tampa’s pass rush has been Vita Vea and no one else for too long now, so why not bring in the shifty end of Boston College to add a little speed and versatility to things?

20 - Denver Broncos: Omarion Hampton, RB — North Carolina

NCAA Football: North Carolina State at North Carolina
Bob Donnan-Imagn Images

There are only two RBs who are even remotely close to being first-round caliber. Jeanty is one, and Hampton is the other. Sean Payton needs to revamp the RB core after Javonte Williams lost his speed due to a knee injury and left for Dallas. Hampton is just what the Broncos need.

21 - Pittsburgh Steelers: Jalen Milroe, QB — Alabama

Alabama v Michigan - ReliaQuest Bowl
Photo by Douglas P. DeFelice/Getty Images

This is our first and only crazy reach of this mock draft. Mike Tomlin is assembling an Avengers-like roster full of freak athletes, and Milroe fits that mold perfectly.

22 - Los Angeles Chargers: Mathew Golden, WR — Texas

Syndication: Democrat and Chronicle
Ricardo B. Brazziell/American-Statesman / USA TODAY NETWORK / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

After last year’s playoffs, it’s clear that Justin Herbert needs help, and Ladd McConkey can’t do it all. The Chargers need to bring in a receiver like Golden to give their star QB more options.

23 - Green Bay Packers: Emeka Egbuka, WR — Ohio State

NCAA Football: CFP National Championship-Ohio State at Notre Dame
Mark J. Rebilas-Imagn Images

For the last decade, drafting an Ohio State wide receiver has been a cheat code for guaranteed success. Green Bay needs receivers badly, and Egbuka would be a solid #2 option behind Christian Watson.

24 - Minnesota Vikings: Walter Nolan, DI — Ole Miss

NCAA Football: Mississippi at Florida
Matt Pendleton-Imagn Images

Nolen was our guy that we had slip fairly far in this mock. If you let Kwesi Adofo-Mensah get his hands on a prospect with as much upside as Nolen, the NFC North might be in serious trouble.

25 - Houston Texans: Josh Simmons, T — Ohio State

Syndication: The Columbus Dispatch
Adam Cairns/Columbus Dispatch / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

What Houston really needs is help at receiver, but all the first-round caliber guys are now off the board. Because of that, we have Houston bringing in an Ohio State guy to pass-block for another Ohio State legend. It just makes too much sense not to mock.

26 - Los Angeles Rams: Kenneth Grant, DI — Michigan

COLLEGE FOOTBALL: NOV 23 Northwestern at Michigan
Photo by Scott W. Grau/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images

Grant is a bad, bad man and is a key reason as to why the Wolverines escaped the Horseshoe with a win over eventual national champion Ohio State this year. I like him going to a Rams team that’s looking to rebuild their pass rush after Aaron Donald’s retirement.

27 - Baltimore Ravens: James Pearce Jr., ED — Tennessee

COLLEGE FOOTBALL: DEC 21 CFP First-Round - Tennessee at Ohio State
Photo by Joe Robbins/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images

Baltimore’s offense is set with Derrick Henry, Lamar Jackson and their plethora of receiving options. They need to go defense, and Pearce is the best player available who can slide right in and start immediately.

28 - Detroit Lions: Benjamin Morrison, CB — Notre Dame

Notre Dame v NC State

Morrison was the best player on an absolutely stacked Notre Dame defense, which should tell you all you need to know. The Lions need help in the secondary, and Morrison is a very Dan Lanning-esque pick. Just pick the raw talent and figure out the rest later.

29 - Washington Commanders: Grey Zabel, T — North Dakota State

2024 Division I Football Championship
Photo by C. Morgan Engel/NCAA Photos via Getty Images

Washington is in a great place going forward with Jayden Daniels leading the way, but they could use some help protecting their new franchise QB. The huge, cornfed dude out of North Dakota oughta do the trick.

30 - Buffalo Bills: Nic Scourton, ED — Texas A&M

Texas A&M v Florida

Scourton is your prime example of a Texas A&M guy who terrorized offenses in college but people doubt his ability to do the same in the league. With the Bills in need of a replacement for Von Miller, picking another Aggie to fill his role makes too much sense.

31 - Kansas City Chiefs: Jalon Walker, LB — Georgia

91st Allstate Sugar Bowl - Notre Dame v Georgia

To be entirely honest, I’m not super sure how Walker got this low, but oh well. This guy is a beast. If Kansas City gets him, it has the potential to revamp their entire defense.

32 - Philadelphia Eagles: Shemar Stewart, ED — Texas A&M

Texas v Texas A&M

Howie Roseman is looking for a defensive player that can slide onto your roster, play and make an impact immediately, which is exactly what Stewart is.

Ralphie Report: Podcast: Creating the world’s best NFL mock draft ever made

2025 NFL Draft - Previews

We made the best mock draft ever...

You read that right, folks. Welcome to the creation of the world’s greatest mock draft of all time.

Okay, so maybe that’s a slight exaggeration. Emphasis on slight, though.

Ryland Scholes and Jake Thompson of Ralphie Report sat down and took turns acting as NFL GMs, picking for their teams to create Ralphie Report’s official 2025 mock draft ahead of tonight’s festivities in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

As always, this podcast has a focus on Colorado more than anything. Jake and Ryland talk about where they foresee Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders landing, whether they like the fit of that landing spot and what teams could potentially be in the market for a CU great on Thursday night. The guys also discuss Colorado’s draftable receivers and BJ Green, talking about when and where they’ll hear their names called.

Ralphie Report: NFL Draft Roundtable: Where will Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter land?

Colorado Black & Gold Spring Game

Photo by Dustin Bradford/Getty Images for ONIT

The Ralphie Report staffers answer your burning questions about the NFL Draft!

The NFL Draft is almost here! For the first time in nearly half a decade, Buffs fans have reason to be excited after six CU players are projected to hear their names called in Green Bay this weekend. In fact, two Buffaloes are headlining the event, being Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, who have been the talk of the town in the months running up to today.

Many questions have been swirling about our beloved draftable Buffaloes ahead of their time in Green Bay, so the Ralphie Report staff pooled our heads together and took out best shot at answering them here for our amazing readers:

Where does Shedeur get picked?

Sam: Shedeur slides to 26, where the Los Angeles Rams take on a talented project to succeed Matthew Stafford. Do I have any sources? Definitely not. Have I read any draft coverage? A little bit on Reddit. But I really do think he falls because he’s not great in the pocket and doesn’t throw with anticipation. That will all have to be coached into him.

Jake: I am higher than most on Shedeur, but I do agree with many of the flaws people point out in his game. He does hold on to the ball far too long, and hasn’t shown the ability to make throws with anticipation consistently. I believe that his Alamo Bowl performance and his confidence have both hurt his draft stock on social media, but I believe a team will take a chance on him somewhere around 10. Top spots to watch may be Saints or Steelers.

Ryland: I agree with Jake. I think Shedeur will land with the New Orleans Saints at pick No. 9. If you’ve watched any of Shedeur’s tape at CU, you’d know he has the talent and potentially the highest upside in the draft. His arm talent, accuracy and game IQ are elite. If the Saints somehow pass on Shedeur with the ninth pick, I think the Steelers will trade up ans grab him in the low teens.

When will Travis Hunter get picked?

Sam: Ward to Tennessee, Carter to Cleveland and finally Hunter to the Giants with the third pick. I know the odds are on the Browns, but it sounds fake that they want to draft him as a receiver first, cornerback second. He could be the best corner in the league — alongside Christian Gonzalez — while still serving as a team’s third or fourth option on offense.

Jake: I feel pretty confident that Travis will be a Cleveland Brown. The Browns have a lot of needs, but how about addressing two needs with one player? It seems certain Cam Ward will be a Tennessee Titan, so the best player in the draft should be the number two pick.

Ryland: Cleveland. That’s a no brainer. The Browns don’t need an edge rusher after resigning Myles Garrett, so I think Abdul Carter is off the table for them. Not picking the generational talent to begin to revamp your roster would be a pretty catastrophic error, in my opinion.

How many Buffs go off the board?

Sam: For sure Jimmy Horn, maybe 4th or 5th round. Maybe Will Sheppard in the 6th or 7th, same for La’Jontay Wester. BJ Green 7th or undrafted. Shilo Sanders just retire man. That’s four for me including Shedeur and Travis.

Jake: I would say six. Travis Hunter, Shedeur Sanders, Jimmy Horn Jr., Will Sheppard, LaJohntay Wester and BJ Green. I hope it’s not just me being hopeful, but I do believe teams SHOULD take a chance on both Wester and Green. Their production was undeniable and both seem to be locker room guys.

Ryland: I’m gonna say five. Shedeur and Travis are obviously first-round guys. Sheppard and Horn are late day two/early day three guys. BJ Green is a late day three guy and Wester is the odd man out, who doesn’t hear his name called in Green Bay, largely due to his size. I’d love to be wrong about Wester, though.

Which of Horn, Sheppard and Wester gets picked highest?

Sam: I’m a big fan of Sheppard and Wester, but Horn moves differently. His acceleration, top-end speed and short-area quickness make him a nightmare in open space. I like his upside as a pass-catcher too, as he has strong hands and tracks the ball well. If he stays healthy, he’s going to stick in the league.

Jake: I think teams will be highest on Jimmy Horn Jr. because of the clear upside, shiftiness out of the slot and special teams skill. The Shrine Bowl seemed to be a big moment for Jimmy as scouts began to take notice of his route running and explosiveness.

Ryland: I think it will probably be Jimmy Horn, but for the sake of being different, I’ll go out on a limb and say Will Sheppard. He’s just a freak athlete. He’s got a gigantic frame, is incredibly fast, has elite hops and is an overall athletic specimen. Somebody is going to pick Sheppard higher than most think, purely because of his intangibles.

Biggest draft night surprise from a Buffalo?

Sam: Shedeur slips for reasons explained earlier. But maybe I’m wrong and the Raiders or Saints take him in the top 10.

Jake: I do think Shedeur is going to slip to later than previously thought in the first round. Recent moves from teams have indicated they may not be looking for a quarterback at the top of the draft and so Shedeur will slip out of the top 5 and probably top 10 as well.

Ryland: I think the first round goes off without a hitch and Shedeur and Travis both land in the top 10. I’ll say that whatever team picks Shedeur takes a 3rd round flyer on Jimmy, which is much higher than he is initially mocked.

Give us your best/most outlandish prediction:

Sam: Raiders draft Ashton Jeanty, but their line is so bad that Broncos running back Omarion Hampton wins ROY. (#FreeJeanty)

Jake: I don’t necessarily think it will happen, but I think there’s an outside chance the Browns find a way to get both Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter. This would be best case scenario for Buffs fans.

Ryland: The Steelers REALLY want Shedeur but don’t have the guts to trade up and get him, so they settle for Jalen Milroe at 21. That’s a pretty insane reach, which I am willing to bet probably won’t pay off.

Ralphie Report: Judge rules in favor of NCAA, bad news for Julian Hammond in transfer portal

NCAA Basketball: Houston at Colorado

Isaiah J. Downing-Imagn Images

It looks like Hammond won’t be granted a fifth year of eligibility.

Julian Hammond III received bad news not even two days after entering the transfer portal. The fourth-year Colorado guard will almost certainly be denied eligibility after a court ruling went in favor of the NCAA.

Hammond was one of many players who entered the portal without remaining eligibility. The portal was closing so why not throw your name in and hope for the best. After all, the NCAA has lost countless court decisions and there was a chance for the case brought on by former Duke and North Carolina athletes arguing for a fifth year of eligibilty.

While it was a surprise, it was a smart move by the Communications major to try for that fifth season and collect an NIL bag. Unfortunately, it looks like he will have to continue his playing career elsewhere, as Hammond played 121 games over four seasons, never redshirted, never suffered a serious injury and didn’t play during the Covid year.

Ralphie Report: JR Payne adds Gonzaga transfer to 2025-26 Buffs

NCAA Womens Basketball: West Coast Conference Tournament Semifinal-Gonzaga vs Oregon State

Kyle Terada-Imagn Images

Colorado has added a versatile wing.

After five years with Frida Formann, JR Payne is on the hunt for another versatile, sweet shooting guard. She may have found that in her latest roster addition, Gonzaga transfer Claire O’Connor.

O’Connor won’t replace Formann one for one, but the lefty looks legit after two seasons with the Zags. After playing sporadically in her freshman season, O’Connor earned major minutes on a 24-win team. It’s her shooting ability that really stands out, as the Bellevue (WA) product hit more than 40% of her 120 three-point attempts. She has a quick trigger, especially when she’s feeling her shot.

Aside from her shooting ability, she’s a strong rebounder and opportunistic defender. Much of that is her size and length at the shooting guard position — she’s 6’0 and quick on her feet — but she also has a knack for the ball. Payne will love to have another player who will force turnovers and fight for loose balls.

Welcome, Claire!
