If I didn't know better and didn't believe that all NCAA rules were adhered to by the letter, I might wonder if a deal with the Sooners had been worked out before Ott entered the portal. Crazy talk, I know.

Players have agents now, right? They are entering into big $ contracts, I assume they have representation. As Letterman’s agent said in The Late Night Wars, we reverse the process: we can’t stop someone from talking to us.
