Howard became the first Stark County player to win the Ohio Mr. Football award, when he captured the honor this past season. Howard rushed for 2,387 yards and scored 31 touchdowns, in leading Hoover into the state semi-finals, where they lost to eventual state champion Cleveland St. Ignatius.

Is this guy totally off the table for us? According to Scout, we have (or had) an offer out to him. Was that pulled because he's anticipated to be a non-qualifier? If there's a possibility he gets into CU, why not pursue him...afterall, what do we have to lose at this point?

I read somewhere that his HS coach said his GPA is like a 0.55 (probably an exaggeration). There's a reason why a RB who has been Mr. Football in Ohio 2 straight years hasn't signed with Ohio State yet. Some talk about him going to a year of prep school before becoming a Buckeye, but he may have to go to a JUCO.
