If Montez leaves, we could do a hell of a lot worse than Bryant. He would guarantee us at least average QB play next year. And next year is the year where we could have quite a team.
 
I worry that he will end up at Nebraska. That would suck.

He has much better options than that train wreck.

Frost has already declared who his QB will be as long as he is healthy. Problem is that that will chase away other QB prospects and then that guy is going to get hurt (his style almost guarantees it) and the nubs will be left using Band-Aids again.
 
Forreal. We need a first round QB drafted more than ANYTHING (except maybe a Heisman or natty). If Montez gets eval go.
 
Agree-From Montez's comments after the game, it sounds like he'll at least consider the NFL.
I believe Montez leaving for the NFL is a great decision. QB draft class is down in 2019, Montez' measureables should be solid, and teams should look beyond some of his short comings this season due to coaching and failures as a team. His stock should be higher in 2019 than in the 2020 Draft class.
