Sorry it's been a long day and its getting pretty late. Thanks for catchin it.For sure, but obviously wasn't at Nebraska as in the title. Still, thanks for the positive memory.
Too damn long. An at-nebraska buttkicking coming up next year.Sixteen years ago today.
This game was nothing short of incredible. It was like all the previous years of near misses and painful losses to the huskers were unleashed in this one game.
I still remember sitting there at the game in the 2nd quarter and we were up 35-3 on the #1 team in the country at one point and I couldn't believe it.
And how many drinks did you have?I was watching the game with my uncles and cousins from home, and We're looking at each other in joyous disbelief that xmas came just after thsnksgiving thst year. It was so much fun.
Took the words right out of my mouth. Almost a decade of misses, blown games (94), and the Halloween Massacre (92).The pain of 93 and 94 were bad, but 96,97,98,99,00 were excruciating, it was nice to finally put a beat down on them.

I remember Nebraska put 8 in the box, ILB’s right behind the NT, maybe a yard back, daring us to run. They decided to shut Rashaan down and make Kordell beat them, and he couldn't do it.
The rant:
The worst part of that, we got screwed and played a 6-5-1 Notre Dame team in a bowl (Holtz busted out the green uni’s). We were the #4 team in the country. Finished the year #3. Then Mac retired.
