Team MVP her senior year. Brown also garnered first team all-conference honors as a senior and was a member of the second team as a junior. She was recruited by Cal Poly, San Francisco, Nevada and Rhode Island.
Kelsey English
"Kelsey is one of the best slide attackers in the state," Julie Ortiz said. "Teams do not know what to do when they see Kelsey coming at them because nobody else can hit a ball quite like she does. Her jump is amazing; so amazing that she was the state champion last track seasons in high jump."
Caitlyn Hubbard
"Caitlyn has been successful in multiple sports throughout her prep career and we are pleased to add her athleticism and disciplined mentality to this program," Kritza said.
Of Note: Hubbard's brother, Tom, was Defensive MVP of our 2005 Houston Bowl.
Neira Ortiz Ruiz
Ortiz has trained with the Puerto Rican National Team program since she was 14, playing with the youth, junior and senior teams. In 2007 with the youth national team she played at the NORCECA Continental Championship in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico and was named the tournament's best blocker. Ortiz played for the junior national team in 2008 and helped the team to a second-place finish at the same championship. During the 2009 season, she played at the Junior World Championships in Tijuana, Mexico. Ortiz started training with the senior national team in 2010 in preparation for the World Championships currently being held in Tokyo, Japan.
Kelsey Spencer
"Being on this team is important to me because I am joining a family that is on a mission and dedicated to their goals and that is exactly what I was looking for in a team," Spencer said. Spencer was the Captain at Fairview and was also named the Knights' Most Valuable Offensive Player as a senior. She was a member of the Juggernaut 18-1 club team.
Erin Stock
Comes to CU after playing her freshman year at Fresno State. She led the Bulldogs with 8.19 assists per set, which ranked ninth in the Western Athletic Conference. At Coronado H.S., she earned all-conference honors and was an all-state honorable mention selection as a senior and was all-conference her junior year. Stock also played club volleyball for the Colorado Juniors and was a member of the team that won the 2009 and 2007 Rocky Mountain Region.
