2012 Bowl Selections

Are we assuming Georgia will be there or have we gotten confirmation? Haven't seen they have selected an opponent for NU. Whether it's A&M or Georgia, love the matchup. Either way, Huskers should get blasted.

A few of the national writers confirmed it on Twitter.
 
Stanford gets a free win in the rose bowl and the ducks get KSU which is a good catchup . I think their is a legit possibility the pac12 walks away with 2 bcs wins this year.
 
It's hard for me to give two ****s about bowls this year, but since me stepdaughter will be visiting without her corn-loving boyfriend over the holidays, I look forward to being able to cheer against the blackskirts with her - she's been faking interest in them for two seasons now and has developed a healthy disdain for all things red. I'm hoping to talk her into dumping the schmuck when she goes back.
 
those florida and FSU players will be so damn bored with the match ups they drew, i see upset potential.

they will not give one **** about these bowl games.

My Dawg husband is depressed. After yesterday, he was in a funk and now this bowl match-up is depressing too - IF Georgia can get up for it after being a spiked ball away from the mNC game, now they have to play a Nebraska team that was absolutely ridiculously embarrassed yesterday (to my delight!). Not that I have a hard time rooting for Georgia usually but I'm actually looking forward to this match-up. I think Monte Ball just showed Gurshall how to humiliate the Blackshirts.
 
9-3 LA Tech has declined an invitation to the Indy Bowl because they don´t want to play Louisiana Monroe.

Bull is the term i think "they" prefer...according to one of my CU grad school mates who was one of "them".

anyway, my knowledge of this ends here and is in no way comprehensive from the onset. spurious info...at the best.
