still, a win tonight...is a good road partner road trip for us.

wins on the road are money in conference play. i don't have a great feeling about this one...but maybe our guys take the fake possible loss and no show in OT as a chance to prove they are a legit top 25 team that took #3 to the limit on their floor.

my many years of CU hoopdom tells me this is a game we lose....but proove me wrong AGAIN tad.

This program is in a place where these games need to be wins. No excuses anymore as we have more talent and need to start playing as one of the better teams in the Pac. Top 3 team in the conference should not lose to ASU anywhere and CU is a program that is a top 3 in the PAC

This is the sort of game that great coaches win and everyone else loses. Tad needs to make sure the guys show up tonight, this is a huge trap game.
 
Concerned about how we respond after getting robbed. ASU should certainly be a win, they are not nearly as good as their inflated record suggests. However, recovering from being cheated is tough to do. Gotta just forget about it and not let the refs beat us twice.

We play like crap against the bottom teams on the road as well. Did you watch us at ASU last year? It was the worst first half of basketball I've ever seen. There's no reason to trust CU on the road right now. Should we win this? Yeah. Could we come out, play like crap, have it even further compounded by what happened on Thursday, and lose? Certainly.

Did we lose though? Nope. We still won by 14, kind of the same thing as the FSU game this year. Should be as easy of money as CU vs. USC on the road last year.

'Tini. We're 7-19 in road games under Tad. We aren't good on the road. There's nothing you can state that changes that. Not sure what you're even trying to argue with me about. And if you're bringing up beating the worst team in the MWC on the road while only managing to score 50, it's just further proof that we have a long way to go to get consistent wins on the road.

Exactly.

Progression of the program.

We've become a good home team and a good tournament team. This year, we took the next step of being good in the pre-season tourney.

Road games is the next progression. Until we get that, we're not a real contender.

Where am I saying we are a good road team? I'm not. But most of those losses have come against some pretty good teams (@CSU [#4], @Cal [#3], @Furd [#7], @UCLA [#6], @Arizona [#4], @Oregon [#2], and @Oregon State [#8] last year). Those teams are much better teams than ASU is this year. You've been saying it all along, ASU is a bad team and Boyle's teams have fared well when they face adversity. I have a lot of faith in Tad that his team will come out with a lot of fire and bounce back strong.
 
This is a game good teams that go Dancing in March take care of. Must WIN anyway you look at it.
 
ASU is such a sh*t school. Academics what? Look at the Sun Devil roster. Juco heavy and some of the most god awful Jucos to boot.
 
Good start for us. 9-2 with balance. Dre, Jelly, Mayor and Ski have all scored.
 
Great defense leads to 4 more for Mayor. 13-2 at the timeout.
