Really does feel new around the football program right now. Something different in there air in Boulder. Maybe just blind summer optimism...
love what I am hearing from post practice interviews from players. Sounds like the guys really did put in the work this summer, and the returning guys met their weight and strength goals set by the coaches. Idk if JE had that kind of system in place over the summer, but I am glad the players are focused and did not regress this summer.

This observation is just based off of practice photos, but the Defense is now wearing BLACK jerseys while the Offense is in WHITE (which is the opposite of what it's been the past few years). Just wondering if this is some sort of strategic maneuver to try and make the D more badass...
also, the QBs are wearing gold, vice green

Gehrke is listed on the roster as #4, but there is a QB in those photos who is wearing 7. Did he change his number?
And can someone please buy that kid a vowel?

Rain Couldn't Dampen First Practice Session
BOULDER— Tuesday afternoon’s rain dampened the practice fields, but did no such thing to the Buffs’ morale. When Colorado’s first practice of the season finally began after a half-hour delay, the only thing left in the air was a great amount of energy and excitement.
The 2013 CU fall camp finally got underway with a nearly three-hour session, which head coach Mike MacIntyre termed enjoyable for all.
