I don't think so, atleast yet. I think this makes it less likely. Although, we played Baylor/Okie State albeit those were one-off neutral site games (not really in the former case).
They are headed to Hawaii for the Hawaiian Diamond Head Classic.

Six of those eight teams are playing their best basketball in years. Only LMU and DePaul are mired in the cellar of their respective conferences. While not a blockbuster lineup, those top six are all in play for a 20-win season with some tournament to follow, and while I don't know how diverse all of their styles are, whatever the draw is we should get some good practice against a variety of sets.

Good tournament but we've got to win our first game and get in the winner's side, or else we face a couple DePaul and Loyola Marymount games that won't do anything. Need a couple games against Wichita State and George Washington.

Any word on St. Katherine's, Evergreen State and Grand Canyon yet? I'd never seen a power program resort to playing an online school (Grand Canyon) until the Utes did so last year.
In all seriousness, I'm glad you're upgrading. It's bad enough we have the worst coverage, by far, of any power conference. Everyone except CU and Zona loading up on creampuffs only hurts our perception even further. Hopefully now that Utah is respectable again you can join the quality OOC club annually. Simply no excuse for what schools like ASU are doing.
Fantastic. Where the RPI is really manipulated is with the "bad" opponents being in that 100-250 range, though. I hope that the rest of the conference figures that out. Tad was forced to after his first year when the Buffs got left out of the Dance due to a bunch of crap to go along with the high quality wins on the resume.
