I don't think that "One Shining Moment" is really a song that many of the Buffs would really dance to.Best of luck this season Buffs bros. If Tad gets the D&R ironed out, could be another special season involving dancing at the end.
I'm not fully buying the D & rebounding mantra this year. It's not like the team is a bunch of new guys meeting Tad Boyle for the first time. Almost everyone expected to get major minutes has been in the program for several years.
Did they forget about Tadball this summer? When they wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat screaming "Box Out!!!" do they just dismiss it as some strange dream? When they subconsciously swat garbage out of the hand of a random Boulderite is it because they were about to use the wrong recycling bin? No. No, this team could be flying around like a Thibodeau-esque death machine and Tad would still slowly lower his glasses around his neck and with a furrowed brow tell reporters how is team just isn't fully grasping his defense and rebounding concepts. This is what great coaches do, they never let a team get complacent.
I must admit, Tad is good. Even though I believe everything I typed above, I watch his post-practice interviews and come away convinced that this team better be dreaming about box-outs and close-outs or it is going to be a frustrating season.

So SMU beat us at their place
