I am headed out to the Nebraska game and also going to Stillwater for the OSU-Texas game. Hopefully we make a bowl game too and I will be there unless it is the Sun Bowl. A high school buddy may be moving out to L.A. from Pheonix so might try to make the USC game too.

Anyone else have any plans?

I'm going to the Nebraska game for sure. Speaking of when does CU sell tix for the game?

Definitely going to Nebraska. Seattle is a possibility as well.

@sliderNcider according to the website single game tickets go on sale this summer. I imagine that road games will also go on sale around the same time.

When my fiancé and I were planning our wedding and picking a date, I told her September 8th was off limits because I wanted to go to Lincoln for the game. She really wanted a September wedding, so she compromised and we chose the Sunday over Labor Day weekend.

We set the date in stone and I start informing a few friends that I’ll be available for a road trip for the game. Three months go by and the fiancés good friend gets engaged and decides to completely ruin everything and choose September 8th as her day, for which, of course I am going to be forced to attend. Sigh, really pissed me off.

Fast forward 8 months, and fiancés friend informs everyone that they’ve decided to put their wedding on hold due to some circumstances they felt they needed to figure out and take care of, so the 8th is wide open again. I’m now trying to solidify plans to get to Lincoln for the game again.

TL/DR: I’m hoping to get to Lincoln to watch the beating we are going to give the Nubs.

People that pick September weddings are terrible people. Sorry, TSchekler.

At least the speed limit is up to 85 mph on I-80...or have they not done so?

Yep! Sure! Right! What ever you say.
Hope you are there in person to witness it. Hoping for a night game too.

Lol probably 10am. won't have anything to do with us..........ESPN is smart enough to not force the country to watch the 12th best team in the Big 10 in prime time

As I've stated before, September 2nd was a good compromise. No NFL and only have to worry about it interfering with college football every 5-6 years.
I’m not arguing with you. I think your solution was perfectly acceptable.

I personally wouldn’t be caught dead in Lincoln, but that’s just me. I can’t stand that place. Talk about a town with zero redeeming qualities.

I would normally agree, but going into Lincoln for a Buffs game is a different story. Go in for two nights, tear up the town, get the W and get out.

Been there. Done that. Don’t feel the need to ever do it again. Have fun.

Dead....its the only way to be caught in Lincoln.
