Colorado's preseason conference poll selection is its best in either the Pac-12 or Big 12 eras. The three-point separation between the Buffaloes and Ducks is the fourth-closest preseason poll vote in league history (1988-89 – tie, 1994-95 – 2 pts, 2012-13 – 1 pt).

Five teams received first place votes, tying for the most in the Pac-12 annals. Defending regular season champion Washington had six and was picked to place third with 273 points. Arizona had a pair of first-place votes and was picked fourth with 263 points. USC picked up the final first-place vote and was selected fifth at 198.

Colorado women's basketball fourth-year head coach JR Payne fields questions from reporters alongside players Quinessa Caylao-Do and Mya Hollingshed. The trio talks overcoming adversity and having discipline, and Caylao-Do breaks down her role as the only senior on the team.

COLORADO will battle TCU, WASHINGTON will face Oklahoma, and OREGON will take on a to-be-determined Big 12 opponent at T-Mobile Arena in the inaugural matchups in 2020, with anticipated return games at American Airlines Center in Dallas in 2021.

ARIZONA, ARIZONA STATE and USC are committed to open Challenge play in Las Vegas in 2021, with return games in the New York City Metro area to occur in 2022, against opponents from a to-be-announced power conference.
