2025/26 freshman class Olympic sports official NLI signing news (Signing period - 11/13/2024-8/1/2025)

With tomorrow (Wednesday, November 13th, 2024) being the start of the signing period for the frosh class of 2025/26 for all Olympic Sports, thought I'd start this thread. As with prior years' threads where I did this, It will be used throughout the signing period to post any news (tweets, articles, pictures, videos, etc.) of future Olympic Sport Buffs officially signing their National Letters of Intents (NLI's).

Want to note, that unlike football and basketball that probably more Allbuffians are aware of, ALL other NCAA Division 1 (and Division 2) sports just have one long signing period (no "early" and "regular" signing periods like football and basketball). For the 2025 frosh class, that "other" sports signing period is 11/13/2024 - 8/1/2025.

As always, if/ as any Allbuffians see any official signing news for any future Buffs, please feel free to post it.

The main purpose of this thread is NOT to post news of newly found future Buffs, which is already covered in the https://www.allbuffs.com/threads/recruiting-news-olympic-sports.101643/page-26 thread. However, If any new (unknown to us) commits do pop up during the signing process, I'll probably post them both places (with more detail on them being put in the main recruiting thread).

Note- With I believe the option of some senior year Buffs still having an additional (Covid-19) eligibility year having ended, along with new NCAA rules generally expanding the maximum (but not required) number of available scholarships for the Olympic sports while setting max (often lower than current actual) numbers for rosters, it will be interesting (at least to me) to see how freshmen classes are affected this coming academic year and beyond.
______________________________________________________________________

Note - I'm going to try and complete the below with specific known verbal commits later today or tomorrow (although I'm FAR behind right now posting through the year), but since I just copied and pasted from last year's thread thought I'd keep the bones of last year's thread without the specifics for now.

For ease of reference, the below tables are pulled from info in the main recruiting thread (post numbers listed are to posts in that thread) and lists the expected signers for next academic year (2024/25) we know about so far that could be signing as early as November 8th. I'll also list when those known verbals, as well as the many previously unknown commits who have signed on to become Buffs, are verified as having signed on to become future Buffs.
(Note- with these sports getting much less recruiting exposure than, say, football, it's much more likely that some listed below may end up going to another college and that many I didn't know about will end up being Buffs.)

(Note- it seems team sport athletes usually verbally commit AND often sign their NLI’s much earlier than those in the “individual” sports (golf, tennis, track & field/ cross country and, especially, skiing), so expect more future Buff individual sport athletes to become known and sign as the signing period goes on.)

The 1st Olympic sport signee I've seen announced is one I didn't know about beforehand. It is for women's golf - Teemapat Pateetin, who is from the FAST rising golf power (especially on the women's-side) Thailand***.

OFFICIAL welcome and congrats to her!!

(***I wonder if CU has ever had a student-athlete from Thailand before?)

Volleyball has formally announced the signing of 3 new Buffs, 2 of which were known of beforehand***, Ms's. Adelson, Gordaliza and Grebadier.
(***The one previously unknown (at least to me) commit continues the trend of the team looking overseas for quality performers, this time I believe the 1st vball student-athlete ever from Spain, outside hitter 𝐈𝐧é𝐬 𝐋𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝐆𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚.)

OFFICIAL welcome and congrats to the 3!

I was holding back from commenting that she had a bit of a mustache and then realized you accidentally posted a MBB signing post. 😂

Later yesterday, women's golf announced their 3rd signing for the class, this one from MANY thousands of miles closer to Boulder - Brenna Higgins, who hails from Highlands Ranch and attends Valor Christian.

OFFICIAL welcome and congrats to her!

BOULDER — Colorado women's golf went local, and global, in adding three standout student-athletes for the 2025-26 season.

Brenna Higgins, Teemapat Pateetin and Ananthi Vivek have signed their Financial Aid Agreements to continue their educations and join the Buffaloes' women's golf team for the 2025-26 season.

Pateetin, from Thailand, and Vivek, from India, will become the first women's student-athletes from those countries to compete for Colorado and in any current varsity sport regardless of gender. Colorado had a pair of men's tennis players from India – Karthik Raju (2005-06) and Anil Yagnik (1949-52) - before that sport was discontinued in 2006.

"We are very proud of our 2025 recruiting class," Colorado head coach Madeleine Sheils said. "This group stands out as hard workers who are hungry for success, and I know they'll help push us towards our goal of making a run in the postseason. We are welcoming Colorado's first players from Thailand and India. We are also thrilled to have a local Colorado player on the roster again. I am happy we are bringing in players from three distinct corners of the world because I know each will bring unique perspective and experience to the locker room."

Brenna Higgins, Centennial, Colo. (Valor Christian)
Brenna Higgins is the two-time defending Colorado Class 5A Individual State Champion claiming back-to-back medalist honors for Valor Christian in 2023 and 2024. She has helped the Eagles to the last three Colorado 5A team titles. Higgins won the 2023 Colorado Golf Association (CGA) State Junior Match Play championship and the 2023 COPGA Mizuno Junior Invitational. She has represented Team Colorado at the last two Junior Americas Cup competitions. Her best round in competition came at the 2024 Colorado 5A State Championships, shooting 66 in the final round at Broadlands Golf Course in Broomfield to claim her second-straight individual title by six strokes at 6-under-par. Higgins has also been active in competitive skiing, cross country and soccer.

Brenna Higgins on staying in Colorado: "I obviously really like the state, and I love coach Maddie and (assistant coach) Mia (Landegren). Those are the biggest factors. And there seems to be a great environment with the team. There's so much support and everyone can come out for close-by tournaments. Just being able to show the younger generation that someone from a cold weather state growing up and (playing) junior golf can play at a big Division I school."

Coach Sheils: "Brenna Higgins is going to be an awesome Buff. She has great athleticism and power because of her background in competitive skiing, and after deciding to go all in on golf during the pandemic, she has been on the fast track to success. I got to see some of her Colorado High School State Championship win this past spring, and I was so impressed by her relaxed attitude in the heat of competition. We are excited to welcome one of the very best junior golfers in Colorado and her wonderful family to the team."

Teemapat Pateetin, Bangkok, Thailand (Singapore International School of Bangkok)
Teemapat Pateetin has had success this year on the Thai Junior Golfer Guardian Association circuit. She claimed medalist honors at the 2024 TJGGA Open Championship at the Dynasty Golf & Country Club in February. Pateetin tied for fourth at the Mazda AJGA Thailand Junior Championship in May 2024 and later that same month tied for 20th at the 31st Singha Thailand Ladies Amateur Open. She had her best rounds of golf this past July with back-to-back rounds of 66 to win the TGA-Singha Junior Golf Ranking Match #2 at the Uniland Golf & Resort. Pateetin was the medalist and helped the Samut Prakan women's golf team to a win at the National Youth Games Region 1 Qualifier to Nationals at the Treasure Hill Golf and Country Club just this past week (Nov. 6-8).

Teemapat Pateetin on signing with Colorado: "During my recruitment process, I felt that I got along with Coach Maddie really well. I think it would be really exciting to be part of her team for four years. The Integrative Physiology program that the university has to offer also fits my interests perfectly. In addition to that, the school has such a unique campus, with a lot of activities to do other than study and golf."

Coach Sheils: "We are thrilled to add Teem to the Buff family. She is a phenomenal player thanks to her incredible work ethic and dedication to the game. Teem already possesses the most difficult skill in golf- the ability to shoot under par on a regular basis. She is consistent, determined, and I think she will have an immediate impact on our line-up next fall."

Ananthi Vivek, Chennai, India (Inventure Academy)
Ananthi Vivek had a strong summer of 2024 with three top 13 finishes on the Future Champions Golf Tour, highlighted by a fifth place showing at the FCG Callaway Collegiate Championship in Palm Springs, Calif. She also placed seventh at the FCG Collegiate National Championship in Encinitas, Calif., shooting even-par at that 54-hole event. Vivek tied for 13th, out of 100 girls, at the FCG Callaway World Championship. She has five top 20 finishes in national tournaments in India while winning five south zone tournaments and seven club events. In 2023 she qualified to represent the TamiNadu Ladies Team as their amateur at the India National Games at the Delhi Golf Club. A competitive squash player, she won an individual title at the 2019 International School Sports Organization National Games.

Ananthi Vivek on signing with Colorado: "A beautiful campus. A wonderful head coach who's journey I can relate to. The athletics capital of the USA. A well-balanced schedule for academics and athletics. I believe Colorado can make me a well-rounded and multitalented student and athlete."

Coach Sheils: "Ananthi Vivek is another exciting addition. Like Brenna, Ananthi decided golf would be her path when her previous sport, squash, was unavailable to her during the pandemic. Ananthi dove into golf headfirst and never looked back. She moved to a golf academy several hours from home and quickly improved her skills, all while maintaining high-level academics. She has been using this year as a gap year to train full-time so that she is even more prepared for college golf. Ananthi's focus, smarts, and determination to compete at the highest level are going to be a huge asset to our team. I can't wait to see how her game takes off during her career as a Buff."

Sanchez, Buffs Add Five for 2025

By: Seth Pringle, Athletic Communications

BOULDER –
While the Colorado soccer team traveled to Georgia for Friday's first round of the NCAA Tournament, the team was also looking ahead to next season with the additions of five incoming freshmen to open the early signing period.

Head coach Danny Sanchez announced the additions of Ruby Hayward (Mesa, Ariz.), Maddie Sharrer (Pearl City, Hawaii), Viviana Zacarias (Lynwood, Calif.), Sophia Zboyan (San Diego, Calif.) and Chloe Zipprich (Evanston, Ill.).

"Our 2025 recruiting class will really help fill the needs we have with our departing seniors," Sanchez expressed. "They all are fantastic teammates, great students, and we feel they can have a huge impact on the field. We can't wait to get them to Boulder this summer!"

Hayward, a forward from Mesa, Ariz., who plays for Phoenix Rising FC, is rated a three-star recruit and ranked No. 41 in the Rocky Mountains and Southwest by Top Drawer Soccer (TDS). She was one of 120 nationally selected players in the 2024 ECNL Conference Cup. Hayward reclassified from 2026 to 2025 and will graduate from Red Mountain High School a year early.

"Ruby is a pure goal scorer," Sanchez commented. "She has great size and technical ability, especially around the 18-yard box."

Sharrer, a midfielder from Pearl City, Hawaii, plays for Hawaii Rush was selected to the US Youth Soccer National ODP Training Camp in 2022. She scored six goals in her 2023 season and helped Kamehameha Kapalama High School to a 9-3 record. Kapalama ranked No. 3 in Hawaii last season and No. 46 nationally.

"Maddie is very athletic and can play in advanced role in the midfield or up top," Sanchez noted. "She has great upside and a desire to get better."

Zacarias, a midfielder from Lynwood, Calif., is rated a three-star recruit by TDS, playing for Slammers FC HB Koge. She scored two goals in an 8-0 win over FC Dallas at the 2024 ECNL Showcase. Zacarias, an All-County midfielder, has scored 25 goals and totaled 15 assists in three years on varsity at Los Alamitos High School.

"Vivi can play anywhere in the midfield," Sanchez added. "She creates and scores goals while also doing the work on the other side of the ball."

Zboyan, a midfielder from San Diego, Calif., is another three-star rated recruit out of San Diego Surf. She scored one goal and had four assists for San Marcos High School last season.

"Sophia is a dynamic and creative midfielder who has great vision and the ability to break down defenses," Sanchez commented.

Zipprich, a goalkeeper from Evanston, Ill., is the 23rd-ranked player by TDS in the Midwest region and another three-star recruit out of FC United. She recorded seven shutouts in conference play and helped United FC into playoff contention with a five-game unbeaten run, in which she allowed only one goal. Zipprich, who attends Loyola Academy, earned All-Sectional honors from the IHSSCA in 2024.

"Chloe has a lot of upside and will really develop working with our returning goalkeepers and [associate head coach] Jason [Green]."

Colorado makes its 14th NCAA Tournament appearance, taking on Georgia on Friday (2:30 p.m. MT).

Article on the 3 new volleyball Buffs (noted in post #3) -

Direct link - https://cubuffs.com/news/2024/11/13/colorado-volleyball-signs-three-standout-buffs-to-2025-roster

"
BOULDER – The Colorado volleyball team welcomes the addition of three freshmen to the 2025-26 roster, head coach Jesse Mahoney announced Wednesday, Nov. 13.

The Buffs' triad of first-year players includes Audrey Asleson (La Grange, Ill./Benet Academy), Inés Losada Gordaliza (Coruña, Spain/IES Eusebio da Guarda), and Olivia Grenadier (Bloomfield, Mich./Detroit Country Day).

"We are excited to welcome this talented trio of student-athletes to Boulder!" Mahoney said. "This group comes in having already accomplished much at the prep and international level and will be one of the most college-ready classes we've had in recent years. We expect all three to compete early in their careers. I am confident that Asleson, Gordaliza and Grenadier will represent the University of Colorado well on the volleyball court, in the classroom and in the Boulder community."

A 6-0 setter from La Grange, Ill., Audrey Asleson attended Benet Academy and played club volleyball for Sports Performance. Asleson helped Benet Academy to IHSA State Runner-Ups in back-to-back years (2022, 2023) and is an IHSA All-State Honorable Mention for the 2023 season. She was eighth all-time in single season assists at Benet Academy in 2022 and ended her high school career with over 1,000 assists. Asleson is a two-time East Suburban Catholic Conference All-Conference Selection (2023, 2024), two-time Naperville Sun All-Area First Team selection (2022, 2023), and this season was named an AAU All-American (2024). Her best high school performance came in a 2-0 sweep over Naperville Central in the 2024 Regional Championship where she notched 32 assists, three blocks, five digs and four kills.

"Asleson has all the tools to be an elite collegiate setter," Mahoney commented. "She is long and athletic – as one of the most physical setters in the class she plays big at the net as a blocker and has the mentality to score as an attacker as well. She is very comfortable running a fast-tempo offense and does so with exceptional deception. Most importantly for the setting position, she has the court presence and volleyball IQ to be a great leader."

Spanish National Team athlete, Inés Losada Gordaliza, hails from across the Atlantic in Coruña, Spain, and attended IES Eusebio da Guarda. The outside hitter played club for Club Voleibol Zalaeta and joined Olímpico de Canarias, where she helped her team reach the finals of the Spanish Cadet Championship. Gordaliza has been recognized as the MVP in the Galician Championship twice and was the top scorer in SM2 in Spain last year (2023). She later joined Emeve de Lugo, where she was crowned the Junior Spanish Champion (2024). This year, Gordaliza and her Junior National Team qualified for the U19 World Championships after finishing sixth at the European Championships.

"Gordaliza has everything you look for in a six-rotation outside hitter," Mahoney noted. "She is an explosive athlete with great size. She handles the ball well in serve receive and is an active defender, as well as a physical blocking presence at the net. But her biggest asset is her arm – she hits hard from both pins and the backrow, and she is a point scorer. With her experience competing at the highest levels in Spain as well as representing her country at the international level, we believe Gordaliza will transition well and excel in the collegiate game."

Three-time PrepVolleyball All-American (2022, 2023, 2024) Olivia Grenadier is a middle blocker from Bloomfield, Mich., and attended Detroit Country Day. She holds the kills record in both career and season for Detroit Country Day and was ranked first in hitting percentage in Michigan in 2024. Grenadier was a Miss Volleyball Finalist and top 50 in the PrepVolleyball rankings, helping lead Detroit Country Day to win the regional championship in 2021. She is also a three-time All-Region and All State selection in Michigan, and she helped her club team, Legacy VBC, to become AAU National Champions in 2023.

"Grenadier is a great athlete in the middle position," Mahoney stated. "She is fast, explosive and reads the game as a blocker exceptionally well for a player her age. She can attack efficiently in front of the setter, as well as running behind off one foot. But what really sets Grenadier apart is her work ethic - she has a motor, and it is always going. Her ability to be available and score, especially in transition, is what most excites our staff."

Although signing day is over, Coach Mahoney commented that he and his staff are planning on bringing more Buffs into the fold before next season.

"We are still actively recruiting for the 2025 class and expect to announce further additions this spring," Mahoney said.

Edwards Signs Pair To CU Men's Golf Program

Two Freshman To Join In 2025-26

By: David Plati, SID-Emeritus/Athletic Historian

BOULDER —University of Colorado men's head coach Roy Edwards has added two of the nation's top recruits to the Buffalo program, as both signed financial aid agreements this week to attend CU beginning next fall.

Tyler Long, the Colorado High School 3A state champion from Evergreen High School, and Casey Kosney from Dorman High School in Roebuck, S.C., are the newest Buffaloes.

"For sure, we met our needs this recruiting cycle and believe Tyler and Casey are cornerstones for a lot of future success," Edwards said in summarizing the duo. "For all incoming college golfers, today is not a destination, it is part of the process. Hard work, confidence, sacrifice, and competitiveness are still the necessary ingredients all players need to continue to improve and develop. I expect these two will do that at high levels."

CASEY KOSNEY

An All-Region performer as both a sophomore and junior at Dorman High School in Roebuck, S.C., his stroke average was 71.1 last spring and an even 72 as a sophomore. He recently won two tournaments, the Henry Transou Memorial in Gaffney, S.C., by three strokes (69-71—140; -4) and the Cheraw (S.C.) Fall Challenge by two shots (69-69—138, -6). Last month, he was a member of the Watson Cup team (South Carolina vs. Scotland) that won the competition modeled after the Walker and Ryder cups; the juniors from South Carolina won, 32-16.

(South Carolina's high school season is during the spring.)

Earlier this year, he won the Morgan Lucas Championship, rallying from 11 strokes down after the first round with a 7-under par 65 to claim medalist honors in the event at Greenville (S.C.) Country Club; he shaved 17 strokes off his first round score (82) to win with a 3-over 147. He tied for fourth in the Palmetto High School Championship (with an 8-under 67-69-70—206 scorecard); he led Dorman to a 16th place team finish in a field 48 teams from around the country.

He played in two AJGA events last summer, tying for 11th in the Greenwood Junior Championship (69-76-72—217, +1) and tying for 26th in the Colorado Junior (77-81-72—230).

As a freshman at Sheldon High School in Sacramento, Calif., he earned player of the year honors in the Delta League (as determined by scores throughout the season and placements in tournaments). He won the Bartley Cavanaugh GC Junior with a 1-under 70 (one of several top five First Tee finishes), and tied for fourth in the State Fair Junior (73, +1) at the Haggans Oaks Golf Complex. His career best score – a 9-under 63 – he recorded in the 2020 Peggy Dodds Sacramento Junior, also at Haggans Oaks; he rallied to win the event with a 74-63—137 (-7) effort as a 13-year old.

"Casey is an athlete who comes from a family of athletes -- he is a highly-competitive and hard-working player," Edwards said. "He has been coached by Phil Dawson – the same coach as (current Buffaloes) Brandon Knight and Dylan McDermott and really has a high ceiling as a player. He played some great golf all over the country and is another highly-talented player."

His father, Erik, is a professional water skier, while an older sister, Rylie, is a junior on the golf team at South Carolina-Upstate and was an honorable mention All-Big South Conference performer as a sophomore. Casey was also on a club soccer team for six years before moving from Sacramento.

His family moved from Northern California to South Carolina prior to his sophomore year in high school; though he grew up in his native Sacramento, he will become the first player from a state of South Carolina high school to play for the Buffaloes. He said he selected CU as his college choice because, "I feel it is the best place to challenge myself and grow as a student-athlete." He committed to CU this past June.

TYLER LONG

The Colorado Golf Hall of Fame's selection as its boys' "Future Famer" for 2004, Long recently completed the 3A trifecta: won the state's 3A championship last month, posting a four-stroke win with a 9-under par 67-68—135 effort at Walking Stick GC in Pueblo; he had nine birdies and 27 pars over the two days (no bogeys). He led Evergreen to its second straight state crown, this time in 3A competition (by 17 strokes at that); the Cougars won the 4A title his junior season at Bridges Golf Course in Montrose (when he finished as the runner-up with a 1-under 141).

As a senior, he also won the 3A Region 2 title (7-under 64 at Fox Hollow), after winning the Jeffco League title for a record fourth time. It all added up to an outstanding senior season, as he either won or shared the title in all eight school events in which he competed. In nine competitive rounds, he shot in the 60's all times (66 or lower six times), with a low of 63 and a high of 69.

His stroke average as a senior was an incredible 65.8, which completed a succession if improvements since his freshman year (70.9), through his sophomore (70.6) and junior (69.8) seasons. He is a three-time All-State performer (second-team as a freshman), a four-time, first-team All-Jeffco selection as academically, has been on Evergreen's Gold or Silver Honor Roll all four years as a prep. His career best round was early in his junior year, a 9-under 61 in the a Jeffco League tournament at Lake Arbor Golf Course in Arvada.

The No. 52 player in the most recent Rolex AJGA rankings, he won the AJGA's Colorado Springs Junior (69-64-71—204, -12), and placed second in the Justin Thomas Junior (68-65-67—200, -16). He was the medalist in the 2024 CGA Junior Stroke Play (65-64—129, -11), but fell the round of 16 in match play; he took third in the Colorado Junior (74-74-61—219, +3).

In 2019, as a 12-year old, Long was named the Colorado PGA's Junior Player of the Year, when he finished in the top 10 in all 11 events he played in, including one win, three runner-up efforts and eight top five finishes. The win came in the season finale, the Fall Series & Tour at Twin Peaks GC, when he shot 76-74—150. That started a run of top 10 finishes in 30 of 31 events, which included six wins, nine runner-up and 22 top five efforts.

Long will be the second Evergreen High graduate to play for the Buffaloes; Mick Brethower spent a year with the team as a senior in 1983-84 after transferring from the University of Arkansas. He committed to the Buffaloes in November a year ago.

"Tyler has established himself as the best junior golfer in the state of Colorado and also as one of the top players in the class of 2025 in the country," Edwards said. "We have been watching him for seven or eight years now and it has been incredible seeing him develop and grow over that time. We couldn't be happier to welcome him into the Colorado Golf family."

Long chose to remain in his home state and selected Colorado because of, "the location, current and past high-performing golf team, a respected business school, the culture of the golf team and CU's national recognition as a school and athletic program."

The Buffaloes currently have a 10-man roster, but includes five seniors. With the addition of these two freshmen for the 2025-26 team, the make-up of the team at present would be one senior, two juniors, two sophomores and two freshmen.

"As we move forward, things are changing in college sports – including golf – and recruiting will get even more challenging," Edwards noted. "This likely concludes our recruiting of high school players in the class of 2025 but we will be actively pursuing several players in the transfer portal at the end of this semester and next year."

Colorado finished the fall season ranked as the 34th program in the country; the Buffaloes resume play with the start of the spring season in The Prestige at PGA West, Feb. 17-19, in Palm Desert, Calif.

BOULDER—The Colorado Buffaloes tennis team signed three new student-athletes from around the globe for the 2025 class, head coach Anthony Pham announced on Friday
.
Lani Brotman, Heidi Crncan, and Yukiko Ikedo have signed their National Letter of Intent to continue their academic and tennis career as a member of the Buffaloes' tennis team starting in the 2025-26 season.

"As a whole, we feel really good about this recruiting class," Pham said. "We're having to replace three prominent and strong players in Mila [Stanojevic], Betina [Tokac], and Aya [El Sayed], these three have some big shoes to fill, but we feel good about the skill sets they bring, the character and work ethic they bring. We think they will continue to push our program forward, and we expect to see great things from them."

Lani Brotman, a left-handed five-star recruit from Carrollton, Texas is the No. 73 ranked player in the United States. She is also the No. 7 player in Texas and is listed as the No. 9 player from the Gulf States on Tennis Recruiting Network.
According to Tennis Recruiting Network Brotman has an overall record of 23-21, including a record of 15-1 against players ranked four stars or lower by the service.

"Lani is a lefty, tall, very explosive game," Pham said on Brotman. "She comes from a good academy [Brookhaven Tennis Academy] with great coaching and Blake [Mosley] and I both feel strongly that she will fit in well with our program and her game will explode when she gets to college."

Heidi Crncan, one of the top juniors in the United Kingdom comes to Colorado currently ranked No. 626 in the International Tennis Federation Junior Rankings. Since beginning competition on the international stage in 2021, Crncan has a record of 30-21. Among those matches, she has made it to the finals of two junior ITF tournaments. In addition to her athletic accomplishments, Crncan arrives at Colorado as a 4.0 student.

"For Heidi [Crncan] tall, big game, I think her game translates well to indoor tennis," Pham on Crncan. "I think she's had good coaching, but I think her training regimen has been somewhat limited. I think when she gets into our program, we expect her game to continue to flourish."

Yukiko Ikedo, from Japan, will become the first player from Japan to compete for the Colorado Buffaloes tennis team. There she ranks as one of the top juniors in the country where she competes for one of the top high schools in Aioi Jafuin. She currently sits with a record of 13-7 in junior matches.

"I first saw Yukiko [Ikedo] play two years ago and she has continued to improve," Pham on Ikedo. "She comes from a great family, and is a good singles player, but also a very good doubles player as well. I think from day one she will have an opportunity to impact both of our lineups."
