2nd week in a row Greg Brown laughing it up while we get our ass kicked

Maybe he's laughing about how bad of a recruiter and coach he is.

I got the feeling that his laugh was just the futility and frustration. When things get extra stupid here in Afghanistan, I tend to laugh at it. It doesn't mean I'm happy.
 
Seriously though, everyone wants to give Cody and Tyler **** for goofing around like idiots on the sideline during a loss. We're blaming culture for half of our problems, yet there's our DC just laughing it up on the sideline as his defense sucks ass yet again?
 
Greg Brown is the DAN HAWKINS of DC'S. He sucks, his schemes suck, he couldn't coach a lion to kill a gazelle.

Creatini is an excuse maker just like hawk.

Agree completely, the idea that Brown thinks this is funny is ridiculous.

Laughing at the fact that Hawk stuck him in a situation where he has corners who couldn't cover a our three Texas WR recruits while they are still in HS.

combine that with wrs playing db and you get what we have on the field right now. Say what you will, but it is more than just Brown as many of you would like to believe. Cannot name a DC that would have a decent D on the field right now.

I'm not trying to blame Brown, but I'm concerned that the coaches are apparently trying to change the culture. To care about losing, yet there's that? It just doesn't seem like a great thing to be doing given our culture of losing.

You must not be watching the coaches except Brown on the sideline if you think they're okay with losing.

Yeah, because this is the only thing posted here tonight. No chat, no game thread, nobody going off on Brown for 3 hours. AGAIN.

I really didn't like Brown yukking it up there. That pissed me off, and it looked like Embree wasn't too amused either. And I think he's a ****** coach. But the constant Brown bashing hour after hour, week after week, is beyond tiresome at this point. We get it.

No different than reading the same excuses year after year and did you have a problem with the hawk bashing?

Fair enough but until media start hammering the defensive coordinator or speculating about his ouster I don't think the ones negative on Brown should stop talking about it.

It's like your reading comprehension goes downhill every week. I didn't say the coaches (plural) were okay with losing, I was specifying Brown, who was on national TV laughing it up as we were getting steamrolled. I don't know what he was thinking, he may have been laughing at futility like wally suggests, but I'm still saying it sets a bad example when we're apparently trying to change the culture of this program. How do kids know it's bad to be okay with losing when they see their DC standing there laughing it up?
