As of this moment, the speculation on twitter is that 443 refers to the uniform parts. IMO the only scenario that makes sense is 4 Helmets (Gold, Black, White, Silver) 4 Pants (Gold, Black, White, Silver) and 3 Jerseys (Black, White, Silver)

ooh thats good. The pantone color doesn't look right though. Most of CU's phone numbers are (303)-443-xxxx.

There are 11 players on a football field for each team, making for 22 total.

22 is Nelson Spruce's number.

Obviously the #443 means that Nelson will be the uniform model on Friday.
