46 point underdogs at Oregon

The question is not whether Oregon will win going away. The bet is 100% dependent on how merciful you think the Ducks will be. They could win by 70 if they really wanted to.

the ducks will score on every possession (unless it is to close out the half or the game). the buffs might score on two or three possessions. i think we are looking at a ducks score in the 70's and a buffs score in the teens. i'd take the ducks even at that spread...

I'll take the Buffs to cover. Who wants some? $20. I'll take the first five.

You have to remember, the home team gets 3 points just for being at home.

Seeing the WSJ journal piece, we see the top 10 biggest point spreads only have 4 covers and the underdogs picked up the rest! Wheeee....

Now, if UO wants to help the Pac-12, they'll do what it takes to keep Embree guiding CU to his next level, just like the Pac-12 hoped Hawkins would do.

And with Kelly those may all be 8 point scores...

I wouldn't expect Oregon to let up too much:

Ducks will cruise past Buffs with 'style'

They are called "style points" and as long as Oregon is No. 2 in the human polls and No. 6 in the computers, the Ducks are probably going to need them heading into next week's big showdown with No. 9 USC at the Coliseum. Last week, Oregon led Arizona State 43-7 and coach Chip Kelly decided to show a little mercy. The BCS computers didn't; Kansas State jumped over the Ducks into the No. 3 spot.

None of this is good news for Colorado, which has given up 246 points in its past five games (and one of those was a 35-34 victory against Washington State). Oregon, conversely, is second nationally in scoring with 51 points per game. And here's the really scary part of this game if you're Colorado: The Ducks rarely attempt field goals. In seven games, Oregon has scored 49 touchdowns and has kicked only four field goals.

Rain in Eugene with a high of 57 degrees. Sloppy field could keep us within 46. :woot:
