#52 Women's Golf at the Clover Cup

The #52 women's golf team will be back in action today through Sunday when they will be competing in the Clover Cup at the Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona. This event, hosted by Notre Dame, is three days with 18 holes per day on a par 72, 6209 yard course. Each team will have five golfers and count the lowest four scores. The teams involved are:

• #80 Kennesaw State
• #38 Louisville
• #89 Maryland
• #102 Michigan
• #71 Mississippi
• #82 Nebraska
• #135 New Mexico State

• #47 UNLV

This should be a great opportunity for the Buffs to get a win in a field that isn't particularly strong.

Just based on the scores, looks like the Buffs are having a tough day- gone from a 2 stroke lead at the start of the day to a 9 stroke deficit ~1/2 through the final round behind leader Louisville, and are in 3rd place (1 stroke behind 2nd place Notre Dame).

About half way through the 3rd round and they are +14 on the day. What a tough way to blow a win.
