apparently the big boys ala Mack Brown and Urban Meyer are sweating the idea of 7 on 7 leagues. The leagues are what has Oregon under investigation. Just read it in the NY Times so no link.
 
now that Urban isn't coaching anymore, he's very ethical and not afraid to tell others what's wrong with college football.
 
the brother of my step dad, who played for OU, and has coached HS in Oklahoma and Texas for 40 years.....says the 7 on 7's and football as a "spring" sports and practices are what makes Texas FB recruits superior. or seem that way.
