A bit of humor to end a damn fine day

So I'm helping my 6 year old with his homework, the assignment is to pick a word out of a list and use it in a sentence.

One of the words is "hawk" so I suggest that to him.

He writes, "Hawk got fired." Not bad, not bad for a 1st grader.

That's my boy!

He's heard that from me since CSU last year.

I actually talked to him about what getting fired meant, and he of course says, "Why, because he lost all the time?" I think I'm raising a true Buff.
 
Slightly OT, but I figured it fit since it was also kind of humorous to end yesterday. (To me at least, i'm probably deranged)

The Nuggets gave up 54 points in the third quarter. How is that even possible? Its kind of like giving up 5 TDs in the 4th quarter to a terrible offensive team. (Hanging my head in shame)
