Michigan. You guys want an early season "statement" game? How about an epic upset at the big house? Sure, it is improbable. But, damn, would that be sweet or what?
Does Sefo finally do it "all" this year? If the line gives him some time, maybe... Experience matters, even with the lost games last year, this guy has a lot of game time under his belt. If the line can hold up, maybe Sefo avoids the happy feet and bad turnovers. Maybe.
DEFENSE. I won't go so far as to say we are going to be fearsome on defense-- still not enough great athletes across the board and in the rotation. But, I do really like our secondary, even in nickel packages. I wish we were a little better at linebacker. The d-line if they stay healthy ought to be able to the best we've seen in quite some time.
What does having co-coordinators mean for us in game action? How does that work? Who is calling the plays; who is overruling? etc. We need to go fast on offense and try to keep teams from teeing off on us. Can all these minds work together and allow us to go fast?
I want a bowl game. That's the minimum bar for me at this point. We don't necessarily even have to win it, but we have to play in a bowl. Progress... Real progress must be shown this year. Hold that class together and set the table for next year.
I feel like we've made a lot of strides toward being decent again. The schedule is tough, but we need to break out. Maybe this will be our year.
