A&M vs. Bama: Who do you want to win?

I am soooo freakin tired of Bama being such a dominant program and would LOVE to see anyone but them in the championship game. Yet I am also so freakin tired of Johnny F and his antics. Yes the NCAA sucks but this kid is a mess. I also like Sumlin.

So after further review I have decided that I hope Johnny F blows out Alabama. I assume with his on and off-field behavior, he will eventually be a distraction or let his team down somehow and they will later get beat. Georgia and South Carolina each already have losses (as does Florida). So if we are super lucky the SEC eliminates themselves from the championship game.

I'd take Clemson, even Ohio State, against a Pac 12 team (probably Oregon) in the Championship game.

Thoughts?

I'll be cheering for Bama in this one. They'll have plenty of opportunities to lose this year. But, really, the best thing for Pac-12 national respect would be if Bama ran the table and then a Pac-12 team mudholed them in the national title game.

I hope something happens (non-injury) that really humbles Johnny Foosball. But also I hope A&M wins.

I forget, are they one of the 35 teams you are a fan of?

I'm not sure

But this is perfectly acceptable at aTm, so yeah...

Bama, because **** Johnny Manziel....... no wait... I am actually rooting for career ending injuries for everyone on both teams

It's curious to see how many people around have suddenly discovered some "connection" to Alabama over the last few years. Unfortunately, those "connections" seem to be happening with Oregon as well.

I'm really neutral in this one. Tired of the Alabama run, but I couldn't think of a bigger douchebag program and figurehead to dethrone them than aTm and Manziel. It'll be interesting to see how it shakes out, Bama's offense is a work in progress at this point it appears, but that aTm defense is god awful. When you're giving up 30 points a game and the opposition is Rice and Sam Houston State, it doesn't bode well.

X-factor to keep in mind here is 'Bama may already be looking ahead to CSU. This trip to aTm has the makings of a trap game, IMO.

Good question.Bama losing sounds good, possibly inspiring them to pound CSU even harder than they would otherwise the following week, and Bama losing is always fun.JFF deserves most everything bad that happens to him,but it'll be real ****ty for his teammates when his next big fubar costs them somehow, whether its being disqualified from the post season or enduring suspensions vs key opponents. But that infers the NCAA actually grows enough balls to do such a thing.

So I guess I'm for Bama.

Is there a way for them to both lose? That would be my preferred outcome. **** both of those weirdo programs.

I'm decidedly more anti-A&M than pro-Alabama.

The way Aggie lawyered up to cover up Manzeil's "inadvertent" 4000 plus signature for profit scam was shameful.

Manzeil is the anti-Tebow. He's Teflon Johnny. Nothing he does sticks to him. It's time the jig is up.

What the heck does "Gig 'em" mean?

Oh, and **** both teams. I'll be rooting for the meteor.

What the heck does "Gig 'em" mean?

Ohhhh boy, here we go: "Gig" is a hayseed colloquialism for when bored teenagers stick their thumbs up a frog's butt to make it explode. It was popularized back in the day when Aggy was playing the TCU Horned Frogs. And that's how we get the thumb sign and all that.

Looking at their remaining schedules after this:

aTm's one true remaining test is @ LSU in late November. Their second toughest road trip behind LSU is @ Ole Miss. No Georgia, South Carolina or Florida.

Bama gets LSU in Tuscaloosa in early November. @ Auburn is their toughest remaining road game after this trip to College Station. No Georgia, South Carolina or Florida.

Count me in the hate JM more than I hate 'bama. At least 'bama is takes the "team" mentality as opposed to the out of control, hot ****, primadonna approach.

Doesnt matter who wins or loses, its the SEC so even the loser may end up in the BcS championship game

I'm rooting for aTm.

Another aTm victory allows me to continue my "any mediocre team from the Big 12 can succeed in a second-rate conference like the SEC" agenda with Carolina Buff (but not the Pac 12) and BC.

Not that I need that much help after the SEC teams all (yep, to a degree, every single one of them except 'Bama) underperformed in Bowl Games last year.

Also, while it's fun to hate on Aggie because they're so ****ing weird, start thinking about your own personal football rituals. We're all pretty weird, it's just that they validate each other for being weird in a very public way. But at the end of the day, those are some very friendly, accommodating fans down in College Station. It's tough to root against them.

How about aTm runs the table, dethroning Bama from the top of the SEC? Along the way JF continues to be JF on and off the field. Goes out partying the night before the championship game and lays an egg on Oregon. Pac 12 emerges as the power conference and JF gets a job at the Waffle House.
