So today is Thanksgiving. Of course, I wish you all a happy one, annual pleasantries, etc.

Coincidentally, this is also the 6,000th post in the history of the Big 12 blog, which was birthed in July 2008. So on a day reserved for giving thanks, I'd like to send a special one out to our readers.

We never would have come close to 6,000 without you, and here's to the next 6,000. I hope you'll join us for them all. Even if you're a fan of Nebraska or Colorado, you're always welcome back here.

Thanks to all of our readers, and I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving. I know I will. I'll be back tonight with some postgame coverage of the Lone Star Showdown. A quick final note, if you've got a burning question or two on your mind, feel free to send it my way for tomorrow's mailbag.
