I love the CU/nu game after Thanksgiving like everybody else, but I am looking forward to not dealing with the massive red exodus of cousin eddies descending on our beautiful stadium.

Great pic LB. Makes me wonder if the fusker shops in Estes Park will slowly fade into nothingness.
I think CU won't be a Thanksgiving weekend staple after 2011. There's no one sensible to pair up against.

Ouch! Does this mean CU has "no" potential rivals in the Big10?
Ummm no. Have you figured out your new rival yet? Ouchies indeed...it will probably be Texas.

You know what? I"m going to miss those crazy turd mountain lovin' inbread Fuskers. God Bless them and God Bless America! I'm just glad for one shining moment today, the University that I bled for and sacrificed my orthopedic health, was relevant in the Machiavellian world of D-1 College Football. Well- played Mr. Bohn. Now let's crush the PAC-10 and whomever else they decide to let in. I, for one, have had about enough of the arrogant ramblings of those bovine idiots in the Lone Star State!
No kidding? My folks are up there fishing this month! I am in B'ville doing my part for America's (non-offshore) energy independence ; ). When are we going bird hunting? Tell your better half that my boy attended the 6th - 9th grade camp in Norman last week and enjoyed it a lot. He'll be in Boulder next year as well as OU. Have fun in AK. The guys who work for me up there tell me it has been a warm and beautiful summer.

No it won't be Texas. I see it being Iowa. Fans from both teams have wanted a yearly game for a long time.
I see Texas maybe playing CU as CU's designated rival, with crap orange marker circled on the calendar marking the date, you know just like old times with Nebraska. Good luck being Bevo's whipping boy? Just imagine the site of Bevo and Buffy being stampeded out onto the field before the game starts. Anyone have a shovel? Bevo can't control himself when he runs very far.
I will certainly pass all of that on! I was hoping for a chillier summer - it would be great to escape two weeks of heat and humidity. However, even if it gets to a hundred degrees, I am so looking forward to the whole experience of leaving UBT to fish and running amok to glaciers, the sea life center, and bear watching.
Any advice on how to deal with that? We don't have nearly the experience that you do.

LB: Record heat in AK = 80 degrees. I'd bring a sweater and rain gear, just in case. The Sea Life Center in Seward is pretty cool and the scenery is awesome on a clear day. Enjoy yourself. We are glad to be back in the lower-48 but really did enjoy our time in Alaska. Let me know if you guys are planning to get to Norman for the Buff game this year and the Wyo Buff family may have to make the trip from B'ville and join you!
Unless A&M goes insane (which they well could), the Thanksgiving rival for UT will continue to be A&M. Given the rest of the pairings of the Pac-10, CU will end up with Tech. That sucks but it's true.
Yes, that sucks! No reason to even get up out of a warm bed to see such a game. But the stimulus money the Pac10 hands out is going to be worth being in the Pac10, I'm sure of it!
Maybe Oklahoma can fit the bill for the rival game on the day after Thanksgiving. Now that will seem like old times with all the red in Boulder for the game.
