It's been a few years since we've had a legitimate bye week that mattered.
I'm hoping during that time we got our special teams figured out and got some guys healthy (Sefo, for instance).
I'm really looking forward to tomorrow night and crushing the baby bears on National TV. However, I have to be a little nervous simply becuase of a few reasons:
1) UCLA has solid athletes
2) will we see a hangover after the bye week?
3) Is this OR next week a trap game?
I'm hoping we can remain focused and boatrace these mofo's, go into Arizona and destroy them in front of their girlfriends, and then come home and take care of business the rest of the season.
In my opinion, a loss in this or next week will kill a beautiful season thus far.
Am I alone in thinking like this?
DISCLAIMER: At the beginning of the season I would have taken a 6 win season gladly and been happy. Now I see how solid this team is, as well as how great they are playing, and anything less thatn the P-12 championship game will seem like a disappointment. Crazy how that happens.
