Here's the idea for this thread, if it sucks, just delete it.
Each year we go back and forth about who was most valuable to the Buffs for the year. My idea is that we all vote (one vote each) for up to 3 days after the game, tally the votes, and name that week's offensive and defensive MVPs.
Whichever players tally the most weekly MVPs would obviously then be the season MVP on that side of the ball. Not that being the All Buffs' MVP would mean a whole lot, but it might give us something positive to post about and it would be interesting to hear other votes. Often times someone will pick up on something I may have missed.
To get things started, my week one MVPs
Offensive MVP- Michael Adkins. It was a tossup for me between Adkins and Lindsay. I thought Lindsay ran harder and contributed a lot to special teams but getting banged up ultimately kept his carries down.
Defensive MVP- Chidobe Awuzie All over the field. He was good last year but it looks like he might play on another level this year.
