Use this thread to discuss all things California. This way we can keep liverflukes from contaminating the rest of us.
California
Projected Starters
Sam Singer - Pure PG who had a 2.5 assist-to-turnover ratio in limited minutes last year.
Jordan Matthews - Can play both point and off guard, and Bears will rely on his versatility.
Tyrone Wallace - Combo guard who can fill a sheet in many ways.
Jabari Bird - A foot injury got him off to a slow start last year, but is poised to explode this year.
David Kravish - A workhorse who won't wow you, but will give you 30 solid minutes every night.
Due to Kameron Rooks' ACL injury, the Bears will be limited in the middle. Kravish is solid and freshman Kingsley Okoroh should be able to hold the center position, but it will be interesting to see how small the Bears go. Graduate transfer Dwight Tarrwtaer (Cornell) might get the starting slot at PF allowing one of their guards to come off of the bench, but it remains to be seen. Roger Moute a Bidias and Christian Behrens both could see quality minutes for the team as well. It will be interesting to watch how new coach Cuonzo Martin uses this team. The roster screams "get up and go", but Martin tends to be on the slower side of pace. His teams are known for their offensive efficiency, so expect the Bears to be high powered. The question is, can they stop anyone?
