UCLA
Projected Starters
Bryce Alford - #DaddyBall should be able to run the point for high powered Bruins.
Norman Powell - Team's only returning starter whose all around game should keep the Bruins rolling.
Isaac Hamilton - High scoring freshman who originally signed with UTEP in 2013.
Kevon Looney - McDonalds All-American will probably get the edge over Wannah Bail at PF.
Tony Parker - Time for highly recruited big man to live up to expectations.
The Bruins have talent, but seeing how it all fits together is going to be the interesting thing. I was not a fan of Steve Alford as a head coaching hire for the Bruins, but he did a great job managing egos last year for the conference champions. This team may require even more work. If Alford can get them to click however, the Bruins could be dangerous. Losing Bolden for the year really hurts them, but they have numerous guys who can fill that spot. Keep an eye on Wannah Bail who is finally eligible after transferring from Texas Tech. Another fun development will be watching Thomas Welsh over the next few years and seeing if Will or Ryan is correct on this one.
