Until sunday. Really hope we keep get that 11 seed. Will this loss effect that at all? shouldnt IMO
 
This loss doesn't hurt at all, especially with such a great showing. Our computer profile improves despite the loss. Personally I hope the Buffs stay as an 11 seed instead of moving up. I don't want to play a 2 or 1 seed in the second round
 
These last 2 were road games even if they go in the books as neutral site games. The selection committee will consider that even if the computers don't.
 
With the way the Buffs are playing, an 11 seed would be ideal.

Without a doubt. Heck I think with the fact that the Sprint Center holds 2-3k more than Allen Fieldhouse does, it's probably more of a home game for KU :D

This. A 12-seed would likely mean a trip to Dayton, while a 10-seed would pit us against a 2-seed in the 3rd round if we won our first game. Plus the 6-seeds have been very conducive to upsets over the years, if you put any stock in that.

Yup. Avoid a #2 until the Sweet 16, and a #1 until the Elite 8. I know I'm getting ahead of myself here, but this team just held it's own in a tough physical conference. In a 1 game situation they can hang with anyone.

Now, we just need to get the bid first. :huh:
 
I'm not convinced the committee evaluates everything, so I'm not sure that they'll give us credit for playing KState and KU in Kansas City. They have made some suspicious selections in the past, and I honestly would not be surprised if we're headed to Dayton.

STILL...it's a great season so far, and I'll take any Tournament dancing that I can get for CU. I ****ing hate that I have to work during selection Sunday and can't even ****ing watch it on TV. GO BUFFS! It would've been great to Colorado pop up on the TV screen, but I'll take the internet announcement.
 
I'm not sold that we're in the dance, for probably the weirdest twist of all......

We lost today while other bubbles won -- vag tech, statePenn, bama. They play tomorrow making our win over the purple pussies yesterdays news. If our conference tourney was still on the original schedule, Weds thru Sunday, this would be different.

Just human nature.

OTOH, a lot of the bubble teams will still probably lose as they get deeper into their own tourneys against the top teams of their conferences. And their losses will come later than ours, making our loss old news.
