As those of you following this on twitter now know, the official meeting are over and there is a 5.30pm flight out of JeffCo to Cincinnati. Butch Jones could be headed back to retrieve his family? he could be headed back to stay at Cincy, he could be headed back to to take the Purdue job....All we know at this point is the plane sending him back leaves at 5.30 and seats 7.

Most of the reports suggest he accepted CU's offer and left impressed. BUT, we have heard and read a lot of rumours about this coaching search many of them were completely false or half truths.

So, as you say, crossing our fingers and most likely we will know for sure tomorrow.
 
Sounds like we threw just about everything at him possible. I wonder if Charlie Strong, Bronco Mendenhall, et al, received a similar offer?

Rumors suggest that Bohn floated a package by Strong to see if he might bite but I don't think Bohn felt it was realistic to get him and that he immediately honed in on Jones. Knowing that Jones had interest from other schools he kept the dialog open with others including Bronco but I suspect there were no real offers made to him.
 
There's probably a lot of flights leaving the metro area today with Butch Jones not on it, why is that news?

Twitter really is a good thing....I have been on all day watching this develop. Simply follow Ringo and assume the opposite is the truth!
