We should be better on defense (couldn't get much worse than last year), but I have a hard time believing they'll be "lights out".
After last year, I'd be happy with a defense that is just average....

They will be lights out if they can
1. stay injury free (not much depth)
2. Get some help up front from the freshmen
I have a lot of faith in Greg Brown as a secondary coach, and warming to him as a DC. In the secondary, we got a lot of youth but seeing how Henderson played last year and how we were plugging in RB's and WR's at CB, I think we will be ok with Yuri, Crawley, Mosely seeing the field. Orms, Polk, and Henderson, etc brings some experience. Will likely play 6 guys a lot vs teams like AZ, WSU, UCLA, Utah and Oregon...
Vs USC, Stanford and Washington, our DL has to be stout. I'm still very concerned here even though I expect a lot of Tupou & Solis, and the news so far on Bonsu is nothing but great news.
But we are thin, even where we are "stacked"....
