would we rather face an sec team and get it out of the way in the semi's or are we hoping for warm up against a lesser school like ohio state or michigan or texas?

discuss.

there is usually one darkhorse in, so i picked them. it could be someone else...

if you end up with, say, bama, uga, clemson, and CU, i guess i want bama or uga in the semi's. head into the NC game with big momentum...

i figure we are way too fast for clemson, oregon, usc, mich, ohio state, and anyone from the truck stop 12.

bama or uga are really the only ones with the overall talent to give us trouble.

SEC team would be my choice. Not only are the players worn out from a grueling season but they might decide the CFP isn’t worth mortgaging their NFL Deaft position.

Watching Washington spring game v. CU's was a massive difference. I do understand that CU team had a lot of walkons playing because of guys cut but man, UW looked like they were on another planet. I do think CU can makeup the gap to a large extent with the Summer transfers but I don't know if it's to Washington or USC level especially when USC was in the portal getting better too. That said, I won't count them out.

Fortunately we dont play them.

Penix is a beast with 4 years of D1 experience who should have time to throw. UO UW will be a great game.

CU doesnt have the hogs yet to win in the trenches, to win each quarter. Will we get those players over the summer? Will they come together if we do?

Doesn't matter. I don't think there's a team in the country that can hang with us.

Give the Prime TV show all the drama and match us up against OSU, Alabama and Georgia.

Clemson's not making the CFP.

Oh, and fck the playoffs and the damn to hell the people who brought that scurge upon our great sport.

i mean, sure, usc has a heisman guy at qb, and uw has a heisman-like guy at qb, but shadeur can throw it around too. they should all fear the hype around CU.

I wouldn't be so quick to count Clemson out. They rolled thru the ACC last year and won the conference championship game in dominating fashion. If Klubnik can be at least an average to above average starter then I see no reason to count them out. Their 2 toughest games (ND and FSU) are both at home. They also have to play in Columbia against SC but even if that's their only loss they would almost certainly still get in the playoff if they win the ACC with just that 1 loss.
