Any NYC Allbuffs going to Traffic Bar on Saturday?

I'm gonna be in NYC for the game and was wondering if any other Albuffers are planning on going to Traffic Bar & Grill?

Hell's Kitchen and **** that bar. Went to watch CU play Baylor in the tourney. paid $50 (before tip) for 5 beers. The place was full of midtown douchebags and had only a handful of CU fans, which I would have just stayed in the east village and watched the game there.

 Welcome to Bloomberg's NYC!

I'll be there. Should be a good CU crowd this time of day & they have decent drink specials during the game. $12 pitchers & if you're anything like me while watching our beloved buffs, pitcher = the perfect serving size.

Sorry, but there is nothing about Brooklyn Brewery that qualifies as delicious....

totally disagree. I think their Brooklyn Brown is pretty good, their Black Chocolate Stout is great. There just isn't much in terms of microbrews in that area. I thought Chelsea brewing is disgusting.

Next time you're in town let me know. I'll invite you up to try my chocolate maple porter or bruxelles blond, depending on the season.

You got it they both sound outstanding. I can't even imagine trying to brew living in NYC. I literally have an entire room in my house dedicated to it.

Carolina, if we're in town there's good chance the family and I will be there (unless a better alternative is discovered. I'm with tante - anything south of 72nd and north of G-Village bites - especially on weekends). Just look for the 11-year-old madchen belting out the fight song.

Cool. As tante mentioned it's the Hell's Kitchen one and from what I can tell it looks like it's in the area you're saying to avoid, but hopefully it will be mostly diehard CU fans and not midtown d-bags like he says.

Good news is it's a weekend game so all the midtown suits will be out on LI or the beaches of NJ playing it cool and trying to get laid for the first time all summer. And it's a sports bar so the "theatre" crowd will avoid it like the plague. I guess we should heed nmbr's advice and order the specials. Pitchers of c-lite. That'll make my wife happy.

Looks like they also have $18 buckets of CL and $6 Boulder Beer and Buffalo Gold's.

That was the 90's. Lost decade in so many ways. Feel free to join us...

Great job by Traffic Bar for putting on a tremendous watch party. I can't believe how many CU fans there are in NYC, the place was packed and we had a great time.

As for NYC, didn't care for it much at all. It was dirty and smelled bad, and it didn't help that it was a smothering hot day. As if it wasn't hot enough, riding the subway was like going down into a sauna. Ugh.

I feel your screen name is misleading.
