Any word on tedric?

Mac just said TT was talking and moving his legs, but was really scared.

Allbuffs karma to Tedric.

I was there, but didn't see it on replay. Knee hit the helmet? He'll be in my thoughts.

KOA sez at hospital for precautionary evaluation. It's a neck injury. MacIntyre asks for prayers.

Gunna have a thin defense next week. If Gilliam had another concussion I dont expect
him back next week either.

Gillam was sick today. He tried to play the first series but left because he was throwing up and had no energy.

Edit: removed my post. Let's keep this about Tedric guys. He deserves that. Thoughts and prayers.

How many games have CU safeties missed to injuries going back a decade? Seems like one of our most cursed positions.

We have way to many plays with safeties taking on RBs and TEs over the middle.

On a team with better LBs they are the ones delivering more of those hits. We need to get better at LB and our safeties will be healthier. They will also be freer to make more big plays that result in turnovers.

I don't really care about winning and losing or what the lineup will be next week.

Just hoping for the best for a young kid who is probably freaking out right now.

Based on this and his movement as they treated him on the field I have a sense that he is going to be okay. Highly thankful though that knowledge of these things has advanced so much in recent years as has taking them much more seriously.

Don't expect him back next week but I think that the end result is gong to be thankfully very good.

Based on Tedric being alert and moving but also being really freaked out, I'm assuming he heard and/or felt something that you never want to hear and/or feel in your neck.

Thoughts are with him tonight. Need to just keep it immobilized and on ice right now. Take some images to see if there's anything structural going on.

I hate this part of football.

Karma.

Gillam was sick to play. Puking all morning.
Something is seriously wrong with Gillam. He needs to get thoroughly checked out. You aren't this consistently sick and having this many head issues without something being wrong. Damn, I hope I am so wrong here.

Between the arm and shoulder injuries and the concussion issues I wonder if it isn't time to shut Gillam down for a couple weeks if not the rest of the season.

Tedrick is tough as nails but if there is any issue with his neck I would hope that they give him some time as well.

We are ridiculously thin on defense as it is and this won't help but it may be time to do the best thing for these two players.

The season's a wash anyway. Let them heal up and get their head back in the game. Football is as much mental as it is physical. After being scared--and rightfully so--both parts of the game need to heal up.

Great news !!! He's a stud back there and so glad he's alright . I hope he can come back mentally from this , hes one of best hitters. But about Gilliam , yeah I'm worried about that boy . I think he needs to sit the rest of year for his sake...

Wouldn't mind seeing both Thompson and Gillam shut down for the season and allowed to fully heal. We aren't going anywhere.

can someone give an update? SDBuff's image is blocked here at work.

when the injury happened, my wife made a comment, not untypical of her: "I bet that kid's mother is freaking out right now".

My response: "and you think his dad is sitting there going 'come on, you pussy, get up and shake it off'"?!?!?!

her answer: "no, he's probably saying 'it's no big deal, he'll be fine'".

yeah, that's probably accuracte
