Arielle Roberson is not returning

I was afraid that might happen since I knew she was academically a senior. She came in with dreams of making it to the WNBA but her body didn't cooperate with that plan and she ended up losing 2 full years to injury. Good luck to her in the future but a real bummer for the team.

Was looking forward to her coming back next year. She is a great player and will miss her next year. Best wishes,

The hits keep coming. How many months until the next cross country and skiing seasons?

I'm disappointed for the team and fans. When I think about it, I am not really surprised. Hope we don't get hit with anything else like this. I had not considered that Arielle would not come back next year, but I figured she would not requested the 6th year hardship.

Best wishes Arielle and enjoy Detroit if that is where you are headed.

Makes me sad especially considering how injuries really robbed her of the game she loves. Best of luck to you, AR.

Agree with the above. She never experienced and we never saw her 100% healthy for any length of time. Had she chosen to play next season my guess is she wouldn't have been 100% either.

She's got her degree and perhaps a plan for what's next.

Now, LL & Co. are going to have quite a challenge next season without Arielle and with a lot of younger players who will be starting and supplying depth in the back court.
