Simply AWESOME!!!

2. How you cheer for other SEC teams - Here’s the deal... I played for the University of Colorado, and I hate Nebraska football. In fact, if I saw Eric Crouch on fire on the sidewalk... I wouldn't piss on him to put the fire out until after he was dead.

When Tommy Frazier led kNU to consecutive titles in the early 90's it pissed me off to no end. Why? Because the only games we lost in 2 years were to those cattle f#ckers and we didn't have a title to show for it.
3. You murder trees! - I played for a school in a town famous for hugging trees (Boulder) and you people have the audacity to murder an innocent tree...

Oh, and this little gem!
JaMarcus Russell. You just had to unleash that fat, over-rated piece of f#cktardedness on the rest of the country didn’t you? Oh, wow, he can throw a football 175 yards. From his knees! You know what else he can do from his knees -- not that -- he can eat.

That said, we all assume that everyone in the South who can spell both their first AND last name goes to Vanderbilt. Consequently, it's no surprise that Vanderbilt's enrollment is only 5,000. The rest of you mouth breathers are busy masturbating to pictures of your national championship banner from 1954. That or fat eight year olds you think could materialize into first round defensive tackles.

As a fan of the game, I absolutly love the SEC. They play some good football down there. Wasn't it Arky/Ole Miss a few years ago that went to seven overtimes? That's great stuff.

Gotta love this comment from the author in response to someone commenting that Colorado sucks...

Thank you, sir! I can't really argue the Colorado point. Although, we were handicapped with Dan Hawkins over the past 5 years... and I think he's been declared legally retarded in 42 states since being fired.

* I don't think they care about trees in Arizona, but you better not **** with their cacti, which is as close to a tree as you can get in a giant desert
* We just think you’re all one giant lump of dudes from that show “Hillbilly Handfishin”.
* Wouldn't it have been better to leave without the note? Is the note supposed to smooth things over. Oh, crap, our NFL head coach is gone. But wait, he left us a note and a chocolate mint. We'll be fine.
* You may be able to pass that stuff off in the South, but the rest of us noticed that you had a damn hippopotamus playing QB!

I couldn't read the remarks either, but that editorial was gold! I'm particularly fond of the notion that the SEC happens to be an exceptional football conference because their fat people are more athletic when compared to the rest of the country.

Also, from a health standpoint, I'd agree that abstaining from ranch dressing on cheerios is just sound advice.

Bump.

Got into an agrument with of SEC dbags last night, and remembered this, so funny.

Try going to an SEC school.

Here at U of Memphis it may be worse. I am stuck in some kind of vortex Arky, Tenn, Ole Miss, and Miss St SEC circle jerk. It is really obnoxious, I try to talk CFB with folks but they are absolutely clueless outside of they are own game that weekend. But they loved to point out that Memphis had a close game with UCLA, so by their logic the PAC 12 is severely inferior.

I don't hate the SEC, they play great football, I'm just sick of all the hype.

I understand the rabid devotion of the fans...if I lived in ****holes like Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi, and all I had to do was get drunk and get my cousin pregnant, I'd be pretty hyped up about football too

UF is a solid #2 in academic standing within the SEC. Nobody is going to catch Vandy. Florida is a very solid academic institution.

Getting into UF was pretty tough actually. A lot more difficult then CU.

UF is actually pretty intense in their admission standards. Ever since the year they won the a NC in Football and Basketball, their application volume has gone through the roof. More applicants = stricter admission standards. Getting in is a pretty big deal as far as public universities go.

??? What can this possibly mean? Unless you got waitlisted at Florida it seems it was equally difficult to get into either.

I got rejected from the Honor college at UF.
CU offered me a lot of money but it was still outrageously expensive

Imagine that. Sports actually increasing the academic prestige and standards at a University. Mind blowing.
