Swung by Tattered Cover today and just picked this up. Once again, some love for Dre. He's listed as an honorable mention All-American, first team All-Pac-12 and the #5 "Inside/Outside" player in the nation.

Incoming recruits rankings:

46.) Josh Scott
57.) Xavier Johnson

Listed between 100 & 300 (not ranked) are Wes Gordon, Chris Jenkins and Xavier Talton. Stalzer is going to have to prove them wrong I guess.

Pac-12 sending four teams to the dance -- Arizona (Elite 8 and a #2 seed) and UCLA (Sweet 16 and a #3 seed) lead the way. Cal (#9 seed) and Stanford (#12 seed play-in-game) are both One & Done. Coming in fifth in the Pac-12 and getting a high NIT bid?

Your University of Colorado Golden Buffaloes

They're pretty high on us saying that we could finish much higher if the frosh contribute. Some decent stuff overall, but the best is the final analysis in their preview on us:

The past two years, Colorado has been dominant at home, where opponents always have to deal with the altitude. They might not be ready to make a run at a conference title, but the Buffs have a lot of attractive pieces being molded by one of the brightest up-and-coming coaches in the college game. This program definitely is on the rise even as it rebuilds.

Once again love for Cal that I don't understand.

For those of you who don't follow Goose and I on twitter (which you should, we are witty and informative and worth every penny). The odds to win the conference tournaments were released today and we batted around our over/underrated teams.

Here they are:

PAC-12
Arizona +175
UCLA +200
Stanford +500
Colorado +800
USC +800
California +1000
Arizona State +1200 (why, why why? they seem to be fairly overrated)
Washington +1200
Oregon +1500 (probably quite a bit underrated)
Washington State +1800
Oregon State +2000
Utah +3000

Something I love about Boyle is that even as everyone says he is a new up and coming coach, he does nothing but exude confidence like he has been there, done that, and expects to be among the best.

I agree, your twitter statements are worth every penny :smile2:

See, I'm ok with the USC line. I think they're going to surprise some people this year. With Fontan back and the transfer whose name I can't remember, their backcourt will be leap years better.

I maintain ASU is DRAMATICALLY overrated (honestly, I'd put them closer to Utah than even Oregon State. ASU is going to blow), Oregon is very underrated. Washington seems a little underrated as well.

I am an idiot and put that on the wrong line, i meant to write that about ASU not USC. Editing now.....

Why all the Cal love?

Cal is not making the Big Dance, nor finishing above us in the standings. They'll be lucky to make the NIT.

Nice pic, but how many times did they have to shave her pits and leg hair, as well as iron out her natural hippy frizz, and slop on a quart of foundation make-up, to make her presentable?

probably less than you had to stick on Gutierrez season to actually think he was Pac-12 Def. player of the year.

Good to see recovery at work boys. Sorry it's limited to the Basketball threads...

We're in a good mood inside this forum. Buff fans have learned to compartmentalize. Our Olympic sports are having a good fall so far, too.

Just messing with ya...think you boys will do well in the PAC this year in B-Ball but your Cal hatred and furd love has got to stop. It's becoming intolerable and I, for one, refuse to kick down $15 a year for such horse sh*t (at least for another year).

You may hate on Cal but rooting for furd in anything is an abomination. Maybe you like getting bitch slapped by them in every sport? Meh...you're new to the PAC. Choose both your rival and idol carefully. Unlike the BIG, the idol changes every year in the PAC. Now...bring it.

You beat us more than we beat you... agreed. You think CU is gonna run the tourney again or secure a place post season before that? Why or why not?

I predict more beatings of Cal, a semi-final exit from the P12tourney (we get unlucky with the seed and run into the Furd again... damn those trees... or UCLA), but a NCAA bid locked up anyways because we peed all over Baylor and CSU in the OOC.

Before I talk sh*t, I need to review all teams for a minimum of 3 days (and assuming my dealer/grower returns to town). Still, I predict a 4th or 5th place season finish for the Buffs and it's a prediction pulled entirely out of my *ss. Cal then plays you in the tourney and overtakes your weak *ssed team and record and advances. We make the NIT or are the last team in the NCAA. Again, just some random thoughts. Really, I don't give a crap until the tourney because we are in the North.

BTW...Congrats on winning the entire tourney last year in the most weak *ssed PAC12 B-Ball conference in the history of the PAC. You guys rock! Also, congrats for being in the same Southern Division as UCLA and Arizona. I have a feeling they may be a little better this year (as in past years). Welcome to the PAC

Pay Tad Boyle. Are you crazy? Pay him now or pay later. That is all. WTF is wrong with CU? I'll say it now...Goodbye Tad

Darth, there aren't many lesbians at Cal. It's a myth. That's what cute girls say to shoo away predators. Pix or GTFO

Maybe Furd really is the better school. sigh.
