So since the basketball team has already won more games than the football team will, I was wondering who loses more games?

It would be really hard to finish a basketball season with less than 11 losses.

We're not winning a national championship and I'm predicting the Dance, so that's 1 loss right there.

I'd be shocked if we didn't have at least 2 losses in the non-conference schedule.

18 conference games. Got to be another 4 or 5 losses there even with a best case scenario.

You can't count on winning the Pac-12 Tourney, so there's 1 more likely loss.

I'll still go with football when looking at a "sunshine view" of the hoops season. But I think it will be close.

Here's an interesting one:

Tad just notched his 50th victory at CU (2nd game of 3rd season).

In football, we have had 52 total wins from 2002-2012. That's an average of 4.7 wins over 11 years.

Yet we're still here. And our complaints are met with accusations of being fair weather fans.

I just hope the BB team doesn't hit the sophomore slump this year. Scared CU might have caught some lightning in a bottle last year and opened the lid early...

I trust Tad to make sure that doesn't happen.

I'm with Nik on this. It'll be hard to not have 11 losses for the basketball team, but it's going to be very close. If I were setting an over/under on losses, it would probably be right around 11 or 12.

I'll say football and that is only by being fair and throwing out any post season wins/losses from Bball since obviously the football team won't be playing in any post season play.....would be very close then
