What's nice about this game is that it certainly looks like the fans themselves get the bulk of the tickets, and the good ones, whereas the Super Bowl crowd seems to be mostly made up of corporate execs.

For some unknown reason, the BCS required that the field used for the Fiesta Bowl (which seem to be just fine) be torn up and replaced with new turf. How they expect it to be as firm as the other turf in less than ten days I have no idea.
