I thought that was a picture taken a few weeks ago of CSU fans and I laughed myself silly. Then I remembered they don't have that many fans.

If it was CSU the shirts would say "We want Bama's money." The only reason they would play them.

Oregon needs to make it past Stanford first.

They also need to watch out for FSU/Clemson. The ACC has some powerful teams this season.

Pretty stupid shirts that probably are going to make it on every bulletin board of every opponent from here on out.

But you can't fix stupid.

I doubt Stanford will pose much of an issue for Oregon. Stanford is nowhere near as physical as they used to be.

As much as I hate to say it, this is Oregon's best ever football squad. They have an elite offense, elite defense and elite special teams. If they're full strength there is not a team in the country they won't beat with their A game.

Alabama is great too, but they're not as good as Oregon this year.

Helfrich hasn't really had to coach a close game yet. I thought the UW game would be a tough one, and it turned out not to be. There's going to be a game this year, whether it's in conference play or in the bowl game, where Helfrich is going to have to make some tough calls. So far it's just been overwhelming talent. We'll see what happens then.

i believe that sentence was incomplete:

we want bama...

... to stop pounding us into the ground.

... to secede again.

... to get the death penalty.

... to invest in birth control and dental floss.

... to invade mississippi.

etc.

sorry Charlie ... lol

think Oregon would win

I think if the game was next week on a neutral site that Oregon would win.

If everything shakes out and Oregon plays Bama in the NCG, the problem is that Saban will have a month to prepare. I think Saban finds a way to shut Oregon down if it happens.

Not sure I see any teams going undefeated.

Louisville, although they might slip up in a game they should win. I also think Ohio State has a good shot based on their schedule. Oregon looks unbeatable, but will have to beat Stanford and UCLA (probably twice) so there's a good chance they'll lose one.

Saban's "month to prepare" is always blown out of proportion. His teams haven't faced an offense remotely as good as Oregon in a title game. First one they got lucky when Colt McCoy got hurt. Then they beat LSU and Notre Dame. Teams with mediocre offenses at best. Saban is lucky that A&M's defense is young (aka horrendous) or Bama would already have a loss this season.

Saban is far from lucky. Bama beat a very good aTm team on the road against the reiging heisman winner. If anything it showed just how good Bama is. When they were finally struggling defensively, their offense went off. I'll only believe that somebody is better than them, when they beat them head to head.

True, but my point was the everyone thinks Saban's teams can shut down any offense, particularly if he has a month to prepare. I think that's exaggerated. Texas, LSU and Notre Dame didn't present the same challenge that Oregon would. That said, I agree with you that we'll only know if they go head to head and I have a feeling both Bama and Oregon will lose at some point this season so it might not happen.

I think an OU-Alabama NC would be epic and great for college football.

The last two are classic. Rep.

aTm's defense is not very good this year.

I don't know who would win, but I would love to see the game. I think I'd have to give the slight edge to Alabama. Saban >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Helfrich.
