Yeah but now we have a coaching staff that's not a bunch of zen pussies (minus Cabral and I'm sure one or two others).

Debacles like Cal last year can't be placed solely on the coaches. The players have some accountability too, they'll be the first to tell you that

They do but you can blame the coaches for the attitude they instilled and the lack of focus they allowed the players to get away with.

I think the punter should keep his tweets to himself and punt the damn ball.

Ryan Miller says this crap all the time. It would be nice to see him back it up this year.

Guys are entitled to say this and I'd rather they be passionate and go hard on the subject of football than be "finesse" tweeters, but BJ Beatty did this stuff last year and even though he can't cover every wideout, block for the quarterback or kick field goals, it's more of an eye roller to read the tough talk from any cog in a losing machine. Tweet about team Xbox competitions or win and then tweet about that.
