Best place to park for CU home games?

I've historically parked over in the Basemar shopping center. I have a feeling that may not be such a good idea this year. I expect with more and more people going to the games, the folks that run that shopping center will be more attentive about who is parking in their lot.

Getting into the parking garage within an hour of tipoff is a nightmare.

Any secret spots that are cheap and reasonably close?

park at the lot opposite of the C4C on regent if you dont want the garage

Is that reasonably easy to get in to before games? Getting out is going to take a while, I understand that. Getting in is the trick.
if we are late we always park there... you know the one im talking about right? off regent across from kit west and the C4C

You can park on Aurora or other roads over there off the Frontage road. Walk under that tunnel and it takes you right up. Or the Dark Horse and walk over.

I always parked at the shopping center across from Kitt and across baseline. It has a starbucks and taco bell. It has always been free for basketball and you just have to cut through Kitt to get to the games.

I usually park across US36/28th on Aurora. That is for football games as well.

That's Basemar. I may be wrong, but I suspect they're going to be paying a lot more attention to that parking lot this year.

The Dark Horse is too far - I'll have my daughter with me and I don't enjoy sludging through snow and ice.

Parking at Aurora might work. Is that street parking, or do people open up lots?

I normally park in the garage, never have a problem, but then again, we normally stick around after the game for the alma mater, and get there early, so we park in the basement, but its rarely a issue. If waiting a couple min is a issue for you, you need to relax, and welcome to big time sporting events.

SHUT THE **** UP AND STOP GIVING UP TRADE SECRETS ****ER

I park in the garage and move fast on the way out. I normally don't have much of a problem getting out. I used to park in the lot west of the keg, walk 20 feet to the front door and be one of about 2k people there but that won't happen anymore.

I always park on the little plateau that looks down on the CEC. Its super close and if you don't mind a slight trek down the hill in the snow I think its the best place to park. Usually easy to get out of too. Might be a little harder this year with the Kitt construction though.

That's probably the best parking you can find, but isn't that permit parking only? What about the B-School parking lot?

My fault, but that place is golden to park at. Hopefully for our sake they let it go another year!

The Dark Horse is da bomb. Great pre game festivities with other Allbuffers and the walk really is not bad. I bring my son who is 13 and he has a great time as well. Great food, great people and easy out after the game.

This is where I've parked since the parking garage opened for women. Didn't have a problem back in the days of sell-outs and huge attendance. I have always gone in the back way also.

Wait, are you saying the parking garage was, at one time, for men only?

 Can't believe I said it like that. I should have said for women's games.

Before the parking garage opened, CU tried to charge for parking for a few years. I was too cheap to park and always found a spot somewhere else that was free.
