Big XII North top 25 teams

i put this together for a Big Ten fan who said: "the Big XII North has always sucked". while it did suck at times and the Big 8 teams clearly took a header when the balance of power moved south, it did not always suck. in fact, CU's championship in 2001 seems like the swan song (minus an NU free 2007). and how you light up a team for 60 and are still ranked behind them is beyond me.

take NU out of the picture and the North still has 15 ranked teams over 14 years. still an average of more than 1 a year.

I stopped reading right there. The Big 10 is a joke. At least the Big 12 had some respectability towards the end.

every Big Ten fan i've known in my life....are the same. one of my best buddies in college was an Iowa fan from Iowa City, grad school Penn State fan buddy...Michigan, too.

they think winning at Purdue or Northwestern is a real deal win but somehow a top 10 Missouri team still sucks and is overrated. no matter what. beating a 5 win Purdue team is real business, but a 10 win Okie State team sucks. it's even worse in basketball.

one of the things i won't like about moving to the Pac is the apparent "Rose Bowl is everything" attitude of the Big 10 and Pac. who cares? the NC before the BCS era was nearly always decided in the Fiesta, Orange and Sugar Bowl in my lifetime. the granddaddy is a jerkoff.
