I hate everything about this guy, but love that he is leading Big Red. Here's an interview after the Conference Championship game this weekend, when Wisconsin put 70 points on his defense.

Skip to the 5:00 minute mark to hear what a nice guy he is. And don't defend him. He's not a good coach. His teams are getting increasingly uglier each year. Callahan's talent is about gone now and it's all on Bo. Yes, they played in a conf championship game, but they didn't beat anyone that was any good. They can't win on the road. And they are not a top 25 team this year.

His recruits are awful.
 
Funny how Nebraska can fire a coach for going 9-3, but can't fire a "defensive" minded coach in his 5th season who allows 70 points against a mediocre Wisconsin team in the conference championship. I love it, Nebraska just keeps sliding farther and farther into college football irrelevancy.

Bo has been coach for 5 years, I'm pretty sure Callahan's talent is ALL gone.
 
Nebraska fans are about to turn on Bo. This is 2001 all over again, and this time they lost to a very average Wisconsin team instead of a very good Colorado team, and the conference championship drought continues. Husker fan is beside themselves on what to do. With TO leaving at the end of the year, I would be hardly surprised if the new AD is a bit trigger happy with Bo.

Completely agree and hate nebraska more than anyone. but the line about neb keeps liding farther and farther into irrelevancy bothers me. we are one to talk. our football house is no where in order. But at the same time i have no problem bashing them since i am stuck in omaha.
 
Nebraska's best days on the football field are behind them. They never had 'best days' for anything else.

I could see part of this happening! Only thing is you will never be a corn lover when Nebraska wins a National Championship.

What was ironic was the Nebraska lost $crewed Oklahoma out of a BCS slot. Pelini is not a great coach but when you win 9 games a year it is tough to fire him.

But I agree we have to worry about our own house first.
 
Not a Pelini fan, but he took responsibility. Not sure what else you could ask of a guy who is by most measures a good D coach that just got whupped.
 
What happened to Bo's brother? Is he in the state penitentiary? Or is he living in Surveyor's basement?

You have to win your conference first (1999).

539 yards rushing by Wisconsin? Really? Even we can tackle better than that.

Hot Carl is the HC at Florida Atlantic.
The talking heads on the radio today were talking about how Nebraska needs to decide if Pelini is the man to get them to the National Championship or if they should find someone else. As I predicted, people were walking around all down-trodden and visibly upset yesterday and today. One of my coworkers said that he turned the game off when it was 21-10 because he got so mad. He then proceeded to complain about the refs. It sure is fun around here when the huskers lose.
 
Just imagine if the PAC 12 - B1G alliance eventually became one conference...I'm sure those Husker fans would enjoy our company on message boards.

I have spent time there. Without Husker football....they have....nothing....nada....zilch....****ing pathetic.

No! I wouldn't let him live in my basement any more than I would you. He would hit on my wife or God forbid my daughter.
He is enjoying life chasing at Florida Atlantic coeds or their mothers. He did eek out a 3-8 first year record this season.
