Hire him. Now.
As a young, inspired and hard-working defensive coordinator, Diaco not only has gotten it done on the recruiting trail, but has turned a once mediocre Irish defense into a unit that performed better than almost anyone in the second half of the 2010 season. With a solid core of that defense coming back in 2011 and the additions of some high-impact freshmen already on campus as early enrollees, this Irish defense may contend as one of the nation's best for all of 2011.
It may not be this year, or even the following one. But it isn't hard to predict what is in store for Diaco in the future: a head coaching job.

Hire him. Now.
He's going to be an obvious candidate for any B1G opening. It'll take the facilities announcement plus some serious cash to get him to take on the challenge that is CU.

Will there be any openings in the Big 10 this offseason though? Maybe IU. But you're right, it'll not only take the cash but also a serious commitment to the football program.
How about Willie Taggart...maybe as an oc?

Right, and he runs an offensive style that could work with current Buffs players. That was my thinking
If the Iowa job opens up at the end of the year I would have to think that would be a natural fit for Bob Diaco.
not to mention his buyout which is 75% of remaining contract paid monthly...Iowa would be at the top of the list of schools looking for a new head coach if they hadn't just extended Kirk Ferentz through 2020.
