Getting the new HC to robo call every season ticket holder. A very scripted message.:rolling_eyes:
 
I believe the call would have been much more effective if it had been customized for each ticket holder:

"Hi DBT, this is Coach MacIntyre, how are you doing today? (pause for response). I'm just calling to let you know how excited I am to be the new coach of the Buffs! Say hi to your wife, CJT and kids, MDT, MRT and JBT and we hope to see you at the games! I'd love to get down to Arvada some day and meet you guys! Go Buffs!"

People will bitch about anything... I'm glad they did the phone calls. Mike Mac comes off as a hard working guy who is willing to roll up the sleeves and get the job done. I think he may be perfect for CU at this time. Hell, at least I'm allowing myself to see the positives. We don't have another lost year under Embree! That's a start. Chill out you half empty glass mutha ****as.
 
Considering how awful the season was, I had no problem at all with the robocall (other than the fact that it was from the 561 instead of the 303 or 720). Oh, and since it's my first post, I'm Mike and I'm a Buffaholic.

It is interesting they use a service with an out of state area code. When I get robocalls from the Broncos it's always from a 720 number.

Yeah, I don't spend much time in political forums of any of sites I post. Generally speaking, they're about as much fun as masturbating with a cheese grater.

As for the real name thing, I'm just a big believer in puttin' my name on it. I figure if I have something strong to say, I may as well be up front about who I am, as everyone eventually seems to get outed anyway (Speaking from experience on this. Did the whole anonymous thing in the billiards biz, got outed, had to dance, wasn't fun).
