Boulder hires Bob Simmons

I'll reserve judgment until he names his staff. He needs to hire a young, hungry assistant or two with a strong pipeline into Platt if he wants to build Boulder's program back up. They'll need to significantly upgrade Recht Field and their locker room as well. Do they have the alumni support and a pro-athletics administration necessary to get this done within the next few years?

And he better bring a legit 6A staff and not just give big pay raises to a bunch of Elementary School coaches, dammit!:smile2:
 
Fairview sucks!

I heard about this yesterday. I'm cautiously optimistic. The demographics in Boulder are not conducive to fielding good football teams.

Boulder has pretty much sucked in 5A, not quite sure they are ready for the jump to 6A. Although they would most likely win the title every year.
 
I went to school with his kids @ Fairview. Biggest jerks EVER. This shows exactly why McCarntney NEVER had any business recommending coaches. He's now 0-2, failing miserably
