link, ESPN updating pretty much real time as invites get officially accepted.

figured we need a thread to talk about the non-playoff bowls.

interesting matchups so far:
Oklahoma vs Clemson
MSU vs Baylor (I like these "first one's out matchups")
Mississippi vs TCU

a few shots for the SEC to get some revenge on the ACC:
MSU vs GT
Miami vs TBD
Louisville vs TBD

Duke vs ASU may be the one I'm most intrigued in watching that doesn't involve one of my teams, but I have no feel yet for which Pac coaches GAF about bowl wins and losses

Foster Farms Bowl
Maryland vs. Stanford
Santa Clara, Calif.
Levi's Stadium
Dec. 30
10 p.m.
ESPN

 There will be about 3 Maryland fans there.

I wouldn't mind the buffs having to play in the Popeyes Bahamas bowl. I think I could have a enjoyable Christmas in the Bahamas.

I don't think that the Big Ten will be the favorite in any of their Bowl Games and could very well get shut out.

Hokie, I think ASU waxes Duke. Duke will be cherishing a bowl game and ASU was dreaming of bigger things, so that could play a major role, though.

As for ACC/SEC,

MSU (10-2) / GT (10-3),

UGA (9-3) / Louisville (9-3)

South Carolina (6-6) / Miami (6-6)

Pretty damn even.

Clemson/Oklahoma in Orlando Dec. 29th, I might have to go check that one out. The crowd alone will be worth the proce of admission.

I hope that Utah drops the hammer against the rams. You lost your coach, you lost your qb, you lost your bowl game in spectacular fashion? Seems like a good recipe for me.

Wait a minute - how is Fresno State eligible for a bowl at 6-7. I realize their 7th loss was the MWC CG, but I thought there had to be extenuating circumstances (I.e. UCLA forced to play in the P12 CG because USC was on probation). I didn't think you could just straight up lose the CCG, fall below .500 and still go.

Will antiqueing be involved?

the antique shops near the stadium have me on speed dial. if by antique shops you mean liquor stores and pawn shops. and by speed dial you mean a look of 'what the **** are you doing around here when there's no game today.'

Penn St was 6-6 (2-6 in conf) and got invited to an east coast bowl. 7-5 Maryland goes to San Fran to play 7-5 Stanford
