If we win another game, and that's still a big if, but if we do and get bowl eligible, we will get an invite to a bowl that is bigger/ nicer than our record would indicate.

Many (not all) bowl tie ins give the bowl the choice. "You get first choice, you get second choice, you get third," etc, etc.

Many times that means first choice gets the first team out of the playoff, and the second choice takes the second team out, etc.

But... if you have a team that will drive ticket sales, tv viewers, interest and conversation much higher, it's not inconceivable that the bowl that chooses 2nd might take the 6th place team, because $.

Which means we may punch above our weight in terms of a bowl invite if we do manage to get eligible.

We get remaining P12 tie-in Bowls and B12 tie-in Bowls as options! Selections galore
 
Before this season, I'd have been okay with another trip to Shreveport for the Independence Bowl. Now if we end up there, that will be a disappointment.
 
When we become eligible, bowls will be falling over themselves looking to sign up CP (and CU).
Apparently the only guy who approaches him for popularity, is Snoop Dogg - and while he may have plenty of weed, and everything else, SD doesn't have a team

Every year there are bowl eligible teams with 5 wins. What they look at next is APR, academic progress rate, and i believe we are good there. We will go to a bowl this year.
