“Any time you have fewer teams in your league, it’s easier for you to differentiate yourself," he said. "When you get into 16-, 18- and 20-team leagues, sometimes you’re not even playing everybody, and they’re in your conference. I don’t know how that’s even a true league. A league means a relatively balanced schedule. Even with a 12-team league in basketball you can’t play everyone home-and-home.”

He also talks about the 2011 Buffs.

And this is why ESPN is so dominant. Look at the competition.

I hope every day that CNN and the boys will decide to launch a competitive sports cable network through SI.

I couldn't agree more! I think most of what is wrong with College Football these days stems from the monopoly ESPN has over the business and thus the future of College Football.

I am now convinced that cbs.sportline is actually written by a thousand monkeys with a thousand computers.

Typos and the such irritate me to no end. I truly despise when someone is getting paid to write, and they can't even write correctly. If I were a writer for one of the network blogs, I'd find another blogger that would proof my stuff, and I'd proof his. Who edits this crap?
